I don't get this ultra low miles thing unless you just screw the car up on a wall like a sculpture.
The car, as a mechanical device, benefits from being driven.
I understand not wanting a high mileage but presumably you now fear the next hundred miles taking you to 3,000 miles.....!?
Thanks for your concern but I don't fear another 100 miles at all

Hi
Low mileage LP500S RHD
Not many.
Black one above
White one with its original owner in the Fens
There is a white one with a red interior still on EE plates around somewhere.
There will be 1 or 2 that'll appear, but that is all.
There's the Tom Hartley Junior Car with 5,000m on it. Also black, with a wing.

Pretty sure the black Countach is owned by Carl Hartley rather than Tom Jnr.

I got the QV mot'd today. Pretty shocked at only having done 1200km since the last one. The least ever.
I will be at the Countach meeting which is about that type of mileage by the time I take a few detours and see friends.
Every time I drive the old banger it is still an event. And the performance still shocks and is addictive!
Just a ramble but hope it enthuses you to get yours out and give it a good drive.

Mines in with Mike P for MOT and service. Not used it this year yet. DUH !
Started a few times over the period on the driveway, just to upset the neighbours.

I'm looking forward to getting behind the wheel for a serious session smile

To be honest, I'm happy to spend time just looking at her. I love the shape and design. Nothing else like it.

I was out last weekend in a friends Countach to Brands Hatch. Yes its as much fun as ever. This was taken in front of the shop area. Oh we couldn't help it but drove to the supercar section with the doors UP....just because you can!

Great that she's home Andrew. Have you had any time behind the wheel yet? Would love to see more pictures when you have 5.

Cheers

Got my 5000S back from Lamborghini Pangbourne at the weekend.
It sailed through the MOT emissions test. Which was a nice surprise.......

Got the new hoops fitted today. Chaps at Watling Tyres did a good job. The old tyres were dated 1997. I was not too happy using the car with these installed. So a lot more content now.

These have probably been seen before but thought I would post the link as they are cool pictures of some fantastic cars - (the photographer is a friend) I posted the link as I was a bit unsure about just copying his pics. which can be seen in the archive section under C&SC Lambo Feature.

enjoy.

Countach B143 AHM was indeed displayed by Rosso Corsa at Goodwood FOS, I subsequently purchased the car via Rosso Corsa shortly afterwards. I subsequently sold it to "magnidec" late in 2006.

There are a few pictures of the car on the internet from when I showed it at Wadebridge Wheels 2006 at the Royal Cornwall Showground.

Hi Dave,
I only occasionally read this forum but was surprised to see you were the last post. I trust you are well and business is good. I still miss our White/White Countach and regret very much selling it (regardless of current values.) There can't have been many right hand drive 5000S models made. Still don't believe I sold it for no reason really, but it went to the trade who I believe sold it onward to it's current owner in Australia. Fortunately it was replaced by a late Diablo SV which was itself supplanted a year or so later by another 5000S Countach which I've owned now for about 6 years. Can't seem to get them out of my system, but I'm sure you'll understand that.
Best wishes.
