My god, that really does look lovely in that blue.Friend of mine bought a black '87 Countach in Miami (serial no ZA9CA05AXHLA12140) and brought it to Belgium. Needed a little bit of work, but is now being driven.

I need a bit of help.
The engine cover clamp, has come off and is lost.
That is the part at the back of the engine cover that fits into the latch on the rear bulkhead to keep the cover closed.
It is effectively two V shaped with a rod which protrudes by about 2.5 cm
Could someone look at their car and give me exact dimensions for the depth length etc of it so I can get a new one built up?
Thanks

I remember well when my first Lambo was delivered - a Jalpa.
I stood there with the dealer wondering whether or not to get the wing removed.
He said, "Look if you're worried about looking over the top, you shouldn't have bought a red Lamborghini!"
The wing's still on.
That mirrors my view. Lamborghinis are not about being subtle or suave, they are about being outrageous and long may that differentiate them. I stood there with the dealer wondering whether or not to get the wing removed.

I had a long discussion about the Countach wing with Valentino Balboni. He was firmly of the view that it should be without the wing. I stood there with the dealer wondering whether or not to get the wing removed.

(He may just be very politic - he kind of said the opposite when filling my Jalpa up with oil at the 30th anniversary factory jaunt.)
