Two right hand drive Countachs coming up in Silverstone Auctions sale

The white 5000S looks immaculate. The engine bay is super clean, though not sure Lambo purists would approve of the red cam covers.

I think that Mike Pullen does that.
It always used to drive Del Hopkins nuts.

Absolutely beautiful car. I had the pleasure of viewing the 1989 Countach 25th Anniversary last week at Dutton Garage.

Parked at the rear of The Peninsula Tokyo this afternoon:

Seems to have been imported from Paris at some point in time.

Followed this one from Washington Services and up the western bypass towards Newcastle last Wednesday (27th July)

I gave the driver the thumbs up and he gave the throttle a few good pumps for me, it sounded great popping and banging on the over run.

Glad you enjoyed it. Yep, I took her to work last week as the weather was good and I was in the office early. Was great to look out of my window during a busy day to see her sat waiting for my drive home.

Pah, if you think I'm paying that much for two Countaches you must think I'm mad!!!

Actually, if you fast forward to 2003 or 2004 I'm pretty sure that an original LP400 was up for sale for quite some time at around £35,000.

Oh to be blessed with a crystal ball.....

EDIT: Just to add I took several photographs of the gorgeous orange Countach reg number 3DUU whilst attending a Carrera Sport Supercar Test Day at Goodwood back in the 1980s and it was absolutely stunning.

Shame the Simon Furlonger one is no longer blue. If it's the one I am thinking of, it made some appearances at the Carrera Sport supercar test days in the 80's/90's (of which I will be posting some pics of it in the coming days and weeks in my 'old lambos photos from the 90's' thread).

Also it's a shame when they restore the interior with the more modern matt finish leather, rather than the more satin/shiny leather that they would have used.

Both epic nonetheless. Are the prices too strong?

Cheers
