For a "restored" car the Driver seat and the mid tunnel look very used.

It’s fab if you’re sitting in it.

Shame the Simon Furlonger one is no longer blue. If it's the one I am thinking of, it made some appearances at the Carrera Sport supercar test days in the 80's/90's (of which I will be posting some pics of it in the coming days and weeks in my 'old lambos photos from the 90's' thread).

Also it's a shame when they restore the interior with the more modern matt finish leather, rather than the more satin/shiny leather that they would have used.

Both epic nonetheless. Are the prices too strong?

Cheers

As some of you know, I have been trying to find every right hand drive Countach in the world. This started with me taking photos at Portman Lamborghini in London in the 1980s.

There are exactly 250 right hand drive Countachs of all kinds in the world.

These consist of:

22 LP400
19 LP400S
37 LP500S/LP5000S
46 QV without skirts
17 QV with skirts
109 Anniversary

This is right hand drive cars made and delivered worldwide, not just UK, and if a car is one of the very few were converted to left hand drive, it is still included here as made in right hand drive. As anyone researching Lamborghinis knows, this has been very hard to get right.... and there may be a very few more cars that appear.

Thank you different people who have sent me lists of cars for different countries, several people who have sent me collections of never seen photos in confidence and the person who was so very helpful in 2017 who wants to remain anonymous.

If anyone has any photos of very rarely seen right hand drive cars, I would be very interested to see them or know about them, as are a cars that I know on paper, but haven't seen a picture of the car ever.

Good info. Must be worth a book or website.

I have some photos taken in the late 1980s on my 110mm camera of a brand new RHD QV Countach at a ferry port in Belgium. The owner was driving it home to the UK after collection from the factory, and was still on EE plates. As a 13 year old this was mind blowing stuff for me

Don't be shy. Start scanning, uploading and sharing! smile

We would love to see them. Can't get enough of period photos of these cars.

Guys

I havent posted on here for ages despite starting this thread.

As has been reported quite a few places the Grand Tour were filming up in the North of Scotland last week with a Fiat X1/9 Lancia Thema Coupe and Alfa GTV V6. I was invited up with a 9 other Italain cars for part of the program and took my QV. As it was parked outside the main area and visible to the public it is no secret that I was interviewd by Jermy Clarkson about the car. It should be screened as part of series 3 in sept/oct.
He and the other two were lovely and we all had some good car chat. Depsite what TV may project they are actually all car guys through and through

The roads up around Ullapool are great with amazing scenery. Well worth a visit.

Looks like a rep to me. Those look like Chevy small-block rocker covers, despite the Lamborghini script on them. Bodywork looks like GRP too, whereas the originals were aluminium.

Always, always, always carry at least a brace of fire extinguishers in the passenger seat footwell.

As said above, bodywork looks GRP and interior details seem a bit off too. Hopefully no one hurt.

Yeah, looks like a replica to me too.

Even so, I feel for the owner of what is sure to be their pride and joy, real Lamborghini or not. frown

Hmmm
Those horrid photos made me go look at my car. I now have a Porsche floor mounted extinguishe fitted. Who cares about passenger comfort when this sort of thing can happen?
My condolences to the owner, replica or not.

This is local to me- think it's a rep with a Rover v8 that's been at local car shows

Was in Chelsea Cars this weekend and they have a US spec fuel injection Countach for sale for £280k but open to offers.

Are these desirable?

Looked in good nick with a big recent refurb but no history which would put most off.

Power quite a bit down on Euro QV and cant say I’m a fan of the US front bumper and anniversary rear panels

White white LHD

(a US spec non-carb car)

I’d link to it if they had a website (odd in this day and age)
