Makes sense now, plates Radio 1 and Radio 2 in normal letters.
Means the sedond is unknown and the one listed as Rad10 is missing its last letter.

Marron/Senape S3 completed in RHD configuration on 28 Nov 1973 to Lamborghini GB, Delivered to Fidelity Radio on 6 Dec 1973 and registered RAD 10.

BGF877S: must be #9708: Originally to Berlinetta Italia in England on 25 Jan 1978.
1978 Lamborghini Espada Series 3 Right Hand Drive UK car believed to be the last UK registered example.

Spot on it was Fidelity Radio Victoria Road London NW10, I can't remember the other car Radio2 but it was a rare supercar.

VHJ 213L was my old Espada. I am pretty sure it was 8872 listed above. RHD and it was red in my ownership. I bought it in about 94 and sold to Malaysia in about 1999. It was offered for auction a couple of years ago in the UK painted white with large rims, I think at CCA.
I believe it was 8872 as the auction description described the car as coming back from Malaysia and it had a crease on the rear bumper which looked the same. Before I owned it , it had a private plate some time back, I think RKS something as the previous owner had those initials.
I hope that solves one of the unknowns!

1998 was the photo's that I attached, the previous one was 1992. I have asked my Dad if he knows the chassis number, but I doubt he has it, as he sold it over 20 years ago. It is now SORN frown

Would be great if you could find some evidences.

Unfortunately quite a number of cars ended like this: https://www.eurospares.co.uk/CarsBreaking/Car/142/...

Since we don't have such car breakers here in central europe you can still find such barn finds/projects from time to time.

Well, there is always the chance that somewhere in the old papers an insurance confirmation pops up, one never knows.

Makes sense, that car has unfortunately only a few pictures in the auction but no info about former plates in UK.

True, there were more photos posted in the past, which were helpful (and included the slight damage on the bumper)

Hi Raymond,

MDD 439 P, SYF 155R & DNP 235H are all LHD cars.

MDD 439P used to reside in Cheshire in the 70s, when I used to see it in Lymm.

SYF 155R - the Swedish owner generously invited me as passenger to a lap of Goodwood in 1988, I believe he still owns the car.

DNP 235H - Ex Mark Dixion & Richard Heseltine Octane car.

Other RHD car chassis numbers believed as follows

LKD 702 S2 RHD 8738
5803 TW S2 RHD 8878
87 JOB S2 RHD 8854
TGC 45M S3 RHD 9338
HYX 491N S3 RHD 9194
BGF 877S S3 RHD 9708
JOJ 611N S2 RHD 8116
MJR 12 S3RHD 9428

VIA 711 chassis may be 8996 but unsure

Assume you have factory production list for the Espada?

H Raymond,

BUR 302S believe to be chassis 9718 , reported as the last RHD imported into the UK.

An Automatic transmission model

Former registrations recorded as CC10,HP 5005,BLH 4345 & RAD 101

Are automatic cars listed in the factory record?

There is another automatic car chassis 9536, which now resides in Australia, but is believed UK supplied.
I am unsure if it was first UK registered and later exported or Berlinetta Italia supplied to Australia.?

What do you have for 7350?
This is a S1 RHD met green with tobacco interior car which resided on the Isle of Man for 30 years until last year and you may seen in Iain Tyrrell's workshop videos

Ian,
there are plenty of automatic cars and its listed in the records, not sure if all had it mentioned but quite a number do.
Concerning 9718 I have my doubts that this was RAD101 since already 9300 had such one mentioned and was also a brown car. XYY151M, formerly RAD10?
Do you have evidences of those registrations being linked to 9718?

9536: RHD. Automatic. Original destination unknown. Now in Australia.

7350: RHD. Originally to Savage in Durban, South Africa on 4 Aug 1969.
Verde acqua met., pelle cinghiale (wild boar)
Have to admit that I didn't watch Iain's Videos yet.

Hi Raymond,

Thank you for the information.

The owner of 9718 had traced its history and advised me of previous registrations including RAD 101.
I have no other evidence, but no reason to disbelieve the owner.
.
I am fairly certain RAD 101 has appeared on several Espadas,
Including a late rubber bumper model I viewed at Maltin Car Concessionaires around 1979.

Another RHD car I have encountered is 9410.
I assume it is not a first UK delivered car ?

Hi Raymond,

TYV 836S is chassis 9704 (advertised for sale last year on Ebay)
BBK 281M is chassis 9100 (resided with Iain Tyrell for many years)

PYK 628R whilst I have viewed the car in 2017 & 2018 I have not seen the chassis plate. The car as viewed was in beautiful condition and is automatic.
DVLA record a date of first registration as Nov 1976.
Assuming it to be one of the few Espadas imported in 1976 (I have five RHD cars) then could it be 9538, rebuilt from the Martin Buckley's /Classic & Sports Car days?

As for the other two registrations I have no knowledge.
Espadas changed registrations almost with every owner in the 70s & 80s and are difficult to trace.
