Dear fellow Countach owners,

after discussion with Paul, who attempted this last year and with his support, I am looking to organise another attempt for a Countach gathering.

The locale will be north of London but south of Birmingham around the M1 / M40 corridors and all are welcome to attend. Exact details to be confirmed but the format will be a meet n great (hopefully somewhere historic, dependant upon numbers) then an approximate 1 hour-ish drive to a country hotel for Sunday lunch.

I'm keeping the format very simple so as to hopefully maximize turnout and allow owners flexibility. I appreciate for some owners, the locale will be a long journey so up to you if you wish to book accommodation on the Saturday and make a weekend of it. It is peak hotel season, hence the decision to leave this up to the individual concerned.

Date: Sunday 12th July

I'm hopeful that many can attend but, will still look to run the gathering even if numbers are low. As you have to start somewhere!

I'm looking for this to be a CT only meeting only at this stage.

Please would you add your forum name to list below if you can attend.

My regards
Rob

Argh, I'm doing a Triathlon on the 12th July, up north so no chance of catching up.

Excellent, I could do with somebody driving beside me in the wifes Touareg with encouraging words and the odd can of redbull. Knew I'd get the support from you mate.

Will try and make it, depending on location. Will ask Valentino if he will be in UK

Hi Andrew, both You and young Valentino would be most welcome.

Guess I'd better get going to confirm the locale(s) so you "possibles" can confirm. :-)

Cheers

Hi Anjum, Early days at the moment. I'll like to see what the uptake is. I have a number of slots in mind, post this number, it becomes more of an organisational headache.

I'm aware of two other CT possibles at this time and will give the thread more time for other CT owners stake a claim.

My best
Rob

Unfortunately that is Scottish school holiday time, and I'll be away with family. Maybe next time.

Hi Paul,

yes! certainly a challenge but hopefully we can get a few cars together. If you can make then I'll sure you get the accolade for the furthest traveled! Be great if you are able to.

Hi Footsoldier, sorry fella, but being a soft southern shandy drinking virgin, I did not think much outside of English school holidays. You could have dropped the car to Mike for some service action whilst down. If your plans change please let me know.

For the non owner but Countach loving posters, as mentioned to Anjum, I'll run the thread for some time yet, to understand the uptake. Shall see where we are a bit later on.

cheers all
Rob
