Should my son join the lamborghini club???

Opinions wanted, please. Is it worth it?
Despite my hardest efforts, my 5 year old has decided not to follow in my footsteps and be an Aston Martin man, but to worship at the church of sant'agata.
As a young boy I got a lot from the aston owners club. But is the lambo club worth joining for a 5 year old? Is there lots of posters, pictures etc we can get by joining??

Firstly, may I congratulate your son on his impeccable taste, he's about the same age as I was when I first discovered the Raging Bull 
The club publish a quarterly magazine called Revista Veloce and you get a club calendar which is very nice. You also get access to club events etc. which is very worthwhile if you are suitably located to get to some of them. For me living in Somerset there is no club activity locally, which is entirely understandable. I joined mainly for the benefit of club valuations for insurance purposes which has been worth the membership fee alone, and I will remain a member.
For a 5 year old enthusiast it would mostly be the magazine and calendar, unless you can make it to club events where he would get to see the cars. You can see a list of club benefits here: http://www.lamborghiniclub.co.uk/the-club/benefits which might help you to decide.
Junior membership is £35, so if you think he would enjoy the 4 magazines and the calendar, plus get a "buzz" from being a member then why not? I don't think £35 is bad for that.
You can email members of the committee through the website so it might be worth contacting the Membership Secretary for full info on junior membership, in my experience Lynne is a lovely, friendly and approachable lady.

I am Lynne and would be more than happy to pop some old magazines in the post so you can see what we do. please send me an email or private message with your details and they will be in the post by return. I have owned an espada since 1977 so am a bit biased. I have been involved with the club and membership since 2007. in my opinion thoroughly worthwhile - club events are good if you can get to them, magazine is entertaining, valuation service is worth the full member subs alone
highly recommended, even for a kid - shows a bit more reality to ownership, and proves we're not all footballers :-)

I was a member but of all the clubs I have joined, it was the one that gave the least value. There were never any meets in the south west and the 1100 owners club magazine could show the Lambo club a thing or two on how to turn out a decent issue. Sorry to be negative but it was a thorough waste of £70.
By way of an update, I was at the NEC yesterday and the club didnt even put on a stand this year either, what a sorry state of affairs to miss the premier meet of the year, with possibly the best opportunity to gain new members.
