12NH may have been the first car down the assembly line, but if it is the same vehicle that McLaren displayed at Geneva the chassis number is 026 not 001.

Fair to say it was the first P1 completed, but it isn't the first chassis as McLaren have numbered each chassis and as we all now seem to be in agreement, it is 026.

I'm aware owners could preference their chassis number and that most if not all P1s have not been built in sequence by that chassis number. I just think it confuses the issue to state it the other way.

Yellow seems to be a popular choice for the P1... not sure if this one's already been posted:

It was "parked" next to a lovely looking Veyron outside Bulgari in Kensington over the weekend.

Saw this yellow P1, accompanied by a white pearl Maybach on the back of a transporter a couple of Thursdays evenings ago on the M25, near Heathrow.

Taking mini wijit to That London on 4th July, any clues where this P1 is living at the moment, or where he might see it apart from Sloane St? We're there until just before 8pm and I know a lot of the Arab cars are out later than that.

Do these guys not have to respect the Highway Code rules regarding double yellow lines?

It is a colour called Amethyst Black. It is black with a hint of purple smile I was there too and couldn't catch the depth of the colour in that light.

What's a £60 parking fine when you have three billion quid?
