Why is the price a joke? Its the same price as the 918 and La Fer.....
I'm very unsure on this car purely because of the price. Am driving one in a couple of weeks so will see, but for me its too based on the 12C to be worthy of 4x the money. I'd love to be blown away (bad pun today maybe?) and be able to forget the value discussion, but for the moment its what's stopping me. TP321 said:

918 is £657k + taxP1 is £866k + tax
LF is £995k + tax (I'm not sure there's anything official on this out there yet)
End of the day the P1 is £240k inc tax more than the 918, and the LF is roughly £160k more again, I'd argue even at these levels that's quite significant.

I see - so a 918 is actually £200k less than a P1. Thats actually quite a difference. Tax means VAT? If so, the 918 is £788k and the P1 is £1039?P1 is £866k + tax

As always, saying so much, without saying anything at all.
If you were a 918 purchaser, you would know that your purchase price is locked in Euros....Along with the price quoted above for the P1 is inclusive of taxes.......getting a bit board now.....Edited by APOLO1 on Tuesday 29th October 07:57

Well I'm not a 918 purchaser but I am somebody who's interested, so what I've got to now is:918: €781,155 approx £669k (or €853,155 with Weissach Package approx £730k) [Source: MSN Cars]
P1: £866k including VAT [Source: EVO]
LaFerrari: €1m + taxes approx £1,027k [Lacking solid pricing]
So assuming most buyers get the Weissach package it's £140k less than the P1, is that correct?
WOW!!!!
Also mentioned this in super cars spotted, but thought it may be of interest here!
Just spotted the 1st I believe uk customer p1 on the a14 at Newmarket.
In the bp garage. Asked the owner, who was a top guy would it be ok to get a photo, and he was great about it
I'm 40 odd now, and until today can't remember the last time I got this excited about seeing a car, in the flesh it is truly epic, and judging by the dirt and road film on it, he is certainly enjoying his new toy!
I'm Away in the lorry this week so can't upload the pics, but will if anyone wants to see them when I'm next home!
Managed to get back on the a14 before him. (Damn quick these lorries) and as it came past it looked a d sounded fantastic!!!

This guy seemed very genuine, he said his was 2nd customer car, 1st in uk and its orange.
He believed 1st customer car in the world was yellow!
He is indeed a very nice guy! The first car was indeed yellow, but it is also a UK one. (I write this knowing both owners)He believed 1st customer car in the world was yellow!
