Mclaren P1 Spotted
Discussion
There were 10 cars there in all. Two left for some reason. But the most I have seen in one picture, for a photo call, is 9.
Many owners have taken their P1 to track which is great. I have seen numerous pictures from all around the world: Spa, Circuit of the Americas, Laguna Seca, Donnington, Silverstone, Fuji, Paul Ricard, Sentul International Speedway in Indonesia, Sonoma Raceway, Nurburgring, etc.
Having been in a P1 on a few occasions on public roads I can say that there is no way that you can even begin to have fun on the roads without getting into a lot of trouble. So I am not surprised to see them on track so the owners can have some fun!

That could arguably be said for a lot of other high performance cars but one does not really see anything like as many laferraris/enzos/918s/CGTs or similar cars on track though? It's a good thing at any rate to see the cars being run on track as that is really what they are designed for.cc8s said:
Apologies I was deliberately vague. Essentially the car is at the disposal of the factory until such time as the arrangement ends.
This is my friends car and he was lucky to get it as they had all been sold at the time. This is the first one off the production line and comes with a Mclaren package which my friend agreed to.
Which includes Mclaren to keep the car for special events and shows for a set amount of time.
As well as been on show at MTC.

It looks like it will be a stunning spec. It is not often that pictures are taken in MSO and, when they are leaked, they tend to be redacted quickly. Ironically, there were some leaked pictures floating about the other week with this car, a deep blue one and a light blue one ready for delivery. Shouldn't be long now.

As Greg says, they are different cars and have very different specs. That isn't blue at all it is Cerebal Pearl and is owned by CJ Wilson, An American football player as far as I am aware and it was recently at Topaz detailing for a protective film to be applied.
CJ Wilson's car is Cerberus Pearl, silver brakes, standard exhaust package, orange seat belts, gloss carbon contrast.
This car is Pacific Blue, orange brakes, stealth exhaust package, black seat belts, matte carbon contrast.
CJ Wilson's car has much more colour in it. Photo Credit: cjwilsonphoto

Let alone the fact that the British car is a British spec whereas CJ's car is US-spec with the associated lights package.
