Congrats, great looking car!
What black is this (Carbon, Fire, Sapphire)?
You have standard or sport exhaust?
That car is going to be carbon black I'm pretty certain (mpbcs do correct me if wrong!). That's the metallic black one, sapphire is blue black and fire is black with the volcano orange flake. What black is this (Carbon, Fire, Sapphire)?

Yup.. Carbon black with the sports exhaust. I went for the carbon pack in and out with the carbon air intakes and I had my old carbon and alcantara wheel with carbon paddles from the 12c. I realise I'll probably get a kicking from depreciation, but the car is a keeper as there is nothing out there I'd rather have and I intend to put good miles on it.
One from the breakfast meet, Mike. Lovely hindquarters!

How many have these have been sold in the UK now ?
Still very few for sale on the used car market. Are we likely to see more in the near future and whats the likely knock on effect to 12C spiders ?
With no dealer network to talk of used car disposal is very difficult with any McLaren and the biggest thing that puts me off one. I reckon the gap between trade bids and retail advertised prices will be huge if you can even get someone to make you an offer.
Think the car is great and super value for money as a keeper but think you have to be prepared to take a huge hit on disposal.

Buy one and you won't want to sell it or think about dealer bid. If you are concerned about these things go out and buy something different. Life is for living and cars for driving.. Not worrying about depreciation. I drove lambos and could not get on with the driving position. Gave me awful back ache. The 650 is phenomenal.. Nothing to changed it for.. So why worry about these things. If you can't afford the depreciation on a new supercar don't buy one and don't moan about it. Maybe just work harder......Still very few for sale on the used car market. Are we likely to see more in the near future and whats the likely knock on effect to 12C spiders ?

Hi giggsy,
They are v comfy but also slightly snug... I am 6'2" and 15stone and fit ok but I wouldn't want to be much wider! The driving position is lower (something I prefer after finding the 12c a little high) and the added bonus of the tight seats is they almost force you to be very straight legged and therefore left foot braking is extremely natural as the brake pedal is directly infront of your left foot. I find that when pressing on along a country lane I now instinctively left foot brake (the new feel of the ceramics is great for this) and I only use the right foot for braking when pooling around town and I need the final bit of feel for coming to a complete stop.
I also think the seats add a bit of drama to both the look of the interior and the experience of driving the car.
If you are thinking of getting them then defo try both types of seats.. Not for everyone and they do make it trickier getting in and out.

Just watch this and :

Don't see point of buying a 12C anymore unless its dirt cheap. When these hit the used car market late 12c's are going to take a big hit IMHO
