650 Spider

I'll be there on Saturday morning enjoying a fry-up with my dad. Went for black with orange calipers and p1 buckets with orange piping/stitching. Lots of carbon too and of course a sports exhaust.

Just try and not break the headlights because god knows how much they cost on a 650, 12C'c are £3600 each + fitting!

So, not the best weather to pick up the spider in... but wow! Having the roof off or even lowering the rear screen with the lid up is brilliant. The noise is so much better than my old 12c was with its sports exhaust. and the buckets are great. Fit and finish an improvement over my old car too.... I can't wait to get it out early in the morning!

Looks great in a dark colour, excellent choice to get the p1 bucket seats, they are a lot better than the standard seats i find.

The noise is a revelation after the 12C... so much better. it has much more charisma, and pops and bangs at the right times. Sounds like an old skool rally car!

I am still in the running in period, but with more torque it still feels stupidly fast and the P1 buckets make you feel much more involved and encourage you to left foot brake all the time.

What black is this (Carbon, Fire, Sapphire)?
You have standard or sport exhaust?

Test drove a 12C few months ago and was already impressed. Don't know if I will trade in my DBS for it, but it is a great car, the 650S being even greater I assume!
