Still 14 days to go till I pick up my 650S, don't think I'm going to make it!

You know that realisation as you get older that the time is flying by? Well that's gone right out of the window lately, every week seems like a year now. I've had decent cars before but never felt this level of kid at christmas anticipation.

Well that killed 3 minutes and 24 seconds, now what?

Hee hee, I know how just you are feeling - I was exactly like mine prior to picking up my new (to me) 12C at the end of January. Thankfully I'm back to sleeping at nights now too although admittedly I reach the same levels of excitement just opening the garage door!

You've probably already got a thread going but if you don't then spill the details of your new car!

Brad, you could always pitch a tent outside of the dealers, make sure you are there on time. laugh

Yeah, I know the feeling. Bought mine pre xmas but didn't take delivery until mid January.

Now doing the 600 running in miles is doing my head in especially with the poor weather and greasy, gritty roads.

Up to 400 so another 2 weekend drives and I should be good to give it some beans well before easter.

All this pooting around I may as well be driving a Kia Picanto lol

Yeah I could pitch a tent in Knightsbridge, or spend a couple of weeks in a cryogenic chamber blissfully unaware. Fortunately work is very busy so that's taking up a lot of time.

Really hope it's dry on the 2nd of March. I mean, it would be just soooo unfair if the roads are damp on the day I pick up my new supercar! Spoilt bd!

13 days to go.

I'd definitely "pitch a tent" if I was picking a McLaren up!

Yep, that's exactly how it feels, I think time may start moving swiftly again after you pick her up Johnny!
Congrats on the car.

Darren, I've gone for Tarocco Orange.

Awesome thing! It's with Paintshield having a full protective wrap at the moment, and I'm missing it frown

It really is so much better than the 12C, not saying that's in any way a bad car! So many little details have improved that you
didn't really think were poor with the 12C until you try the 650. For example, the bonnet closes much easier as do the doors.
The clunking has gone when hitting potholes, the steering is quicker and the noise is much improved, although not in a "circus"
style "look at me" Huracan way wink The "whump" on the up changes is really cool, very F1'ish IMHO.

Looking forward to getting her back, and more importantly, looking forward to some sunshine and dry roads to get some grip biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
