you're on Ash I really hope I'm wrong and that you win the bet.I deposited on a 675lt in the absolute expectation that I'd own one of 500 coupes and that would be it...
My strong, strong hunch is that the great reception afforded the sports series has slowed 650s sales further and as manufacturing priorities change for Mclaren toward the sports series they fully expect to be left with enough carbon tubs to (need to) run a limited edition 675lt spider so the tubs (which have already been made) get used up...
Like I said,I'd love to be wrong,but I fear I'm right...

I would have thought if there was to be spider, they would just make a spider and not a coupe at all. The majority of 650 sales must be spiders
Factory will tell you its 80/20 in favour of spidersUK dealer say it more like 50/50 here
Can't see why MCL would make a spider version of a long tail?
Napier Green 675LT spotted in Eight Ash Green, Colchester on Friday Afternoon - what a sound!!!
I thought it was a 650s but when I flashed it out of the junction the driver gunned it and the exhausts looked all wrong!!!
That Supercar Kids link has completed the picture for me now - once again, what a freaking noise!!!

I saw what I believed was a 675LT in a a reddish-orange colour drive past me in Sedlescombe a short while ago. It was LHD and on trade plates, driven by a very serious looking salesman. Looked and sounded amazing, very loud even on essentially tickover.
They do sound pretty amazing. My favourite is the napier green though!Gassing Station | McLaren | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
