Tyres got up to 31 degrees celcious yesterday on another decent run out, road bone dry, a little more grip thankfully but still far too much nanny intervention for my liking. I tried what Shmee suggested but could not switch off ESC for some reason as the car would not let me. Any ideas chaps? I have checked the manual and could not find anything to help.
strange.

Put suspension and engine into track mode, press and hold ESC, should eventually light up.

If not, call McLaren.

You can't put ESC in Dynamic unless the Handling toggle is in Sport or Track; it doesn't work in Normal - my apologies for not mentioning that before.

I keep mine in H-Sport, P-Sport, Manual, and tap Active every time I get in the car then ESC Dynamic if it's a sporty drive when the conditions are appropriate.

Ah, that will be Italian Celcius - it's about 45 of our British Celcius.

A quick google suggests track type tyres should be in a range around 80 deg c to work properly so as previously suggested it would appear your lack of grip is almost certainly too much right foot with not enough tyre temperature

Another tank of fuel burnt today, making the most of the low oil prices!!

Well, that changed everything, thanks to Shmee for the tip. By switching ESC to Dynamic removes all the nannying, no more flashing yellow lights, WHAT A MACHINE.
I don't have the depth of vocabulary to be able to describe how good this car is, simply stunning, staggering, incredible. The power and acceleration is probably a match for anything built today or before, but that is not even half the story. The way this thing handles, the way it feels in your finger tips, the way it grips, the way it lets you play, is a whole new level of driving experiences for me. It is just incredible on every level.
I have owned super charged Atoms, Lotus Exige, Porches etc etc. The 675 changes everything.

Still speechless really, happy, but speechless. If I didn't have to watch the kids while the wife nipped to the shops I would refill this tank and go back out.

Thanks Shmee, appreciate the tip.

It's a game changer isn't it! I had exactly the same excitement when I realised that change.

Yep, that was me. I have been out every day for the last four, if it's dry tomorrow that's another tank gone.

Just passed a McLaren Orange LT on Edgware Road, I was in the FF but wished it was a nice New Year LT combo! I haven't heard it from the outside much, it is so good!
