Hazy - yeah had a new black boxster many years ago, looked the mutts but as you say pain to keep clean, I found even on a nice day a trip up the end of the road meant a wash or dust off on static alone !
Dugan - yes that's the colour I would have through choice, liking the black with red interior in classifieds currently though :-)

I'm drawn to Volcano Orange but ther's no used ones
Looks like Volcano Red as a back up
Any one seen the pearl white in the sun?
I did consider pearl white but it doesn't pop and reflect in the sunlight like the volcano colours, maybe because its a light colour.Looks like Volcano Red as a back up

The transformation is less dramatic and there is less contrast in the panels/curves/lines.
I also thought its a fashion colour, in today and out tomorrow so might not age as well
All that said it still looks stunning in white with black carbon details
One should also take into consideration usage of the car.
A bright, in your face, colour like the volcano colours, is not best for everyday users.
As much as I like VR and some of the other colours, I wanted a more subtile colour.
My preferred option was ice silver, but it was too similar to my previous Mako Blue V12 Vantage and in the end I went for the darker "standard" blue, which I find a great colour for a car I use everyday (10,000 miles in just 8 months.....).
Funny enough, it also looks quite different on sunny days, with the sparkles of the first metallic coat coming out to shine through the second stage blue coat.

Thought I recognised that name from the Aston forum A bright, in your face, colour like the volcano colours, is not best for everyday users.

I did like the look of the swatch for Ice Silver but then my Aston is Lightning Silver so very similar
Usage is hoons only but that means it will be sued everyday for a couple of weeks with the chance to properly clean it
Experience is light colours suffer worse in this respect.

I like the blues, never quite sure which one Standard Blue is though. Any pics? Hm.. I don't think it matters what colour it is in terms of attracting attention unfortunately, it attracts too much no matter what colour to be honest so would say just pick the colour you like most and not worry about it.A bright, in your face, colour like the volcano colours, is not best for everyday users.

I was actually more thinking about the user himself.Getting everyday in a very bright and colourful car can get tiring. I got very quickly annoyed with my first (and only) red coloured car.

Random Q but do your children attend a certain public school in rutland? As I swear I have seen this car a few times and its a gorgeous looking thing!
