Range Rover 5.0 supercharged - all the car you could ever need
Hear HearCombo of the two is more than you would ever need.
The Range Rover averages 21.5 mpg and the McLaren 18.5 for what its worth.
Sorry for the lack of reply pistonheaders have been a little manic.
Update on the current position as follows.
Took the RS6 out, felt like a big downgrade and felt surprisingly slow in comparison to the McLaren. Cayenne GTS even more so obviously.
My mind has been changed a little. Think I am going to focus on either a Bentley V8S or Range Rover Vogue 4.4 Diesel Autobiography. These cars compete in areas other than speed. For example the RS6 offers performance, but it is quite frustrating to drive fast because I miss that pull from the McLaren. The Bentley and RR offer something completely different and in almost all areas other than performance and attention, are an upgrade.
Do anyone have any advise on these 2 cars?
The only curve ball could be the GT Speed. They offer 630bhp and have come down to a very attractive and quite tempting price. It seems that although the Speed is quicker the V8s is the one to have. Anyone disagree?

Yes, I do V8s is a great car with a great sound but why wouldn't you have the W12 if you could?Update on the current position as follows.

I'm somewhat biased of course but I just love my GTC Supersports - it's not quite as quick as the McLaren nor does it handle or even ride as well but it's super fast and damn comfortable.
Oh dear, I think I've now mentioned my GTC S/S in about 3 different posts, people are going to start calling me the RamboLambo of Bentley's
Had the previous gen continental speed and supersports. There was quite a difference between the two as the supersports was much stiffer and had faster gearbox software but really is a point and squirt car. Wafting is okay and accelerating away from the lights is okay but doesn't sound nice when pushed. The V8S would be much better sound wise but if your disappointed with the speed of the RS6 then I don't see how you will be happy with the Bentley but you'll probably be much more comfortable driving the Bentley due to it's higher seating position.
Only borrowed a discovery and it was quite nice to drive, again if you're not looking for a speed fix. Interior, although nice doesn't feel anywhere near the level of the 650 obviously so maybe a reasonably used rangie. I'd still go with the G63 just for its cool factor and it's proven off road ability
