I can see 3 new requests, but none match up with your PH names! Can you PM me please, if one of them is you?
I've just submitted another request, but you're not set-up from PM's on PH James MAs Groucho Marx said, I refuse to join a club that would have me as a member

I didn't think a few weeks ago there was so much interest in McLaren as I do now, lots of newbies like me and long termers all coming together in a nice community both here and on Facebook. The start of a great group, making the ownership experience better for all. The crew's getting bigger with more to come shortly....

Great work V8FSIHow come I'm not part of the 'McLarencrew' - have I missed something or done something wrong?
Sorry Balistic. It's getting hard for me to work out who is who, and what their car is, so not too difficult to miss someone off inadvertently.
Have you posted your car pic here or on the F/book group? What's the car and I'll check.
I have to update it with groups of two or four new ones now or it will look odd. In fact I added four more earlier, so an updated one coming shortly.
Apparently some bloke called Tim joined, couldn't find a picture of the car anywhere..... ;-)
No problem to add more crew as time goes by.

V8 / Guys, just thinking out aloud but has anyone here got access to whatever machine it is that puts a Logo on the back of jackets or sweatshirts ?
Reason I ask is that I have just picked up from sports direct one of those black shell jackets in a sale for £20, would be really cool if we all had one with the #McLarencrew on the back.
Also it never got off the ground really last year but I suggested a trip to Le Touquet for lunch or overnight trip, any interest in that ?
I also have a great route out leaving from Brands Hatch for breakfast runs to Lydd / Rye direction if any interest.

Collected mine Saturday and then immediately did 150+ mile drive from IOW to Herts for a night out, followed by a "s9" breakfast meet (that turned in to a big event).
Lots of lovey metal, a couple of LTs, a couple of 12c (including mine) and a 570s
other manufactures equally represented
Now done a total of 350 miles in mine (in 24 hours)...first impressions are:- , very easy to drive, f'ing fast when it gets going, attracts lots of attention (even though its full on stealth mode), noisy (sports exhaust), IRIS2 - works an absolute treat, the car is everything I wanted it to be.
I must have a hole in the fuel tank.. consumed the best part of 100 liters.
Photo from this mornings breakfast meet- I think the photo was taken by Mosi

100 litres is pretty well 22 gallons.. I must have a hole in the fuel tank.. consumed the best part of 100 liters.
350 miles on 22 is 15.9 MPG....
Not quite Bispal's 28 MPG collection cruise back!
You've got the record so far.. congrats!

about 15% a convoy of Super cars
about 10% trying to get rid of a diesel BMW on my bumper
another 10% trying to keep up with a beautiful Bugatti Veyron (M6 toll onwards)
and 15% through the 50MPH road works or village roads
The cars done a total of 12k miles and says its averaged 17.5 MPG
My wife's driven it & she likes it, the problem is she is already planning to use it next week while i'm at work
