What! These were the first switches I played around with when I got the car just under a year ago - gives you three-cars-in-one and is even more variable given independence of each. I'm settled on a track power-train and sport aero combination and works just fine for most situations, with the occasional track/track if the roads are smooth biggrin

You can also adjust the ISG to be low/medium/high on any setting if you want via the settings on the dash!
ISG has been on high since the first few seconds in the car!

The weather has just been so wet, the last thing I wanted whilst getting used to the car was more power and a looser rear end!! biggrin

It definitely felt like a different car today, a lot more urgent and aggressive, much more responsive, can't wait to get out in it again!

The ISG sounded 'buzzy' when I got it but it was rectified at the service (I think there's a filter that's replaced?), the exhaust does sound great with the settings turned to Sport, I drove everywhere in sport/sport but watch the tyres in the wet!!

And yes, it does have heated seats. wink

Glad you're enjoying it, you've got a good one there.

Cheers Sean wink

I think for the first time today I "got" the car.......previously I've loved tootling about, mainly in the wet, with the odd blatt along roads without standing water etc.......but still wary of a wet back end stepping out........today was simply something else...went from cruising around to literally gripping the steering wheel.........the faster and harder you drive it the more alive and connected it feels.......drop back down to 20-30mph and the car feels grumpy, proper annoyed, almost like the car is saying "FFS, what are we doing here, hurry the hell up!!"......love it!!

Bispal nice work!
Ian is great he spent loads of time with me trying to find the right car and eventually got me a great built to spec deal on a 650S
I noticed the reflecting stitching on a few test drives, that was the reason we went Harissa Red for the interior accents, it's only noticeable in very very bright light head on.

Andy, I haven't received anything from you which doesn't surprise me as PM doesn't seem to have been working for quite some time(?).

For the Supercar meet i'm organising I ended up setting up a temporary email address supercarmeet@hotmail.com which everyone emailed me their contact details to, and i was then able to reply to them directly from my private email address.

Please send me details using the above email address and that way i should get your message.

Thanks

V8 / Guys, just thinking out aloud but has anyone here got access to whatever machine it is that puts a Logo on the back of jackets or sweatshirts ?

Reason I ask is that I have just picked up from sports direct one of those black shell jackets in a sale for £20, would be really cool if we all had one with the #McLarencrew on the back.

Also it never got off the ground really last year but I suggested a trip to Le Touquet for lunch or overnight trip, any interest in that ?.
Bump .... Anyone / anyone interested ?

Thanks Ian. I sent you a FB message as you're one of the enlightened ones (!) in a newly-created FB messenger group, but I've just emailed you too, just in case.

Those coming on the run but not on Facebook, please email me at "mclarencrewrun at gmail.com" and I'll send you routes etc.

As it happens... I just happen to have a vinyl cutter in our office which could produce the logo onto either a sticker or iron on transfer for a garment. We don't have the actual tee shirt press, but a hot iron can do the same. Needs some time to cut out and weed the waste material away. If I get some time I may experiment.

Watch this space.... Doggers Monthly could be reporting a load of blokes turning up one morning at a car park in #McLarencrew teeshirts! laugh

Right this is more of an experiment than anything else to see if they will cut cleanly from the artwork we put together.

This is self adhesive vinyl for signs and stickers, I only had grey available to hand, but it works. Because of the long format these ended up about 30cm long,

I will try them half that size when I have a little more time. Not everyone's cup of tea on their car, but on the tailgate glass perhaps?

Thoughts?

Smaller and fiddlier to weed out the holes in characters, but 15 cm long and ok.

Right off home for some food...

Or McLaren orange be super cool ?

Apologies gents but it is looking increasingly unlikely that I will not be able to make it on Sunday.

Hope the weather stays dry for you!
