Hi Jeff, I know your car. I had a deposit on it before Christmas but had to pull out as I was let down on the sale of my 997 GT2. Absolutely fabulous car with a terrific spec. Ascot didn't know what they had. It was Alastair who told me it's history, super knowledgeable and general nice guy I hope he continues to do well - he certainly deserves it.

Alastair told me about it too Carl and was very helpful, the car was next to the P1 on it's debut, there are quite a few videos online where it makes an appearance alongside Ron Dennis and Lee McKenzie.

I'd suggest anyone looking at getting a McLaren speaks to Alastair regardless of where they've seen or are planning to buy a car from, he can assist you in some way. His service comes highly recommended by several on here.

So, add me to the list of people who've pushed the button!

I just put a deposit down on the SG 650S at Romans. I went to test-drive it yesterday and, as a 458 owner, was expecting to find it a bit quiet and unemotional (based on a lot of the stuff you hear about Maccas). I was blown away by the car: it had lots of character and was a real event. The acceleration is simply mind-blowing and the interior is simply stunning. The 5 minute test drive turned into 90 minutes followed by placing a deposit.

I pick her up next Saturday and can't wait.
