Just ordered a 570S
Discussion
picked up our 570s first week of march. ordered in june last year so had plenty of time before we locked in the spec. we went with:
Ventura orange
Standard wheels but stealth
sports exhaust
carbon mirrors
carbon side skirts
Carbon intake and door.
Vehicle lift
black sports interior with orange stitching on the dash and seats
soft close doors.
dealt with Chris at McLaren Ascot. great guy and highly recommend them.
The hardest part was choosing the colour but really happy with it. I personally think the standard wheels look the best and don't go to mad on carbon.
Soft close doors, front lift and sports exhaust are a must in my opinion.
A fantastic fun car. been lucky enough to drive quite a few cars over the years, but this is at the top of the tree for driving fun.
let me now if you want some pics.

I locked down spec on a GT yesterday (placed order at Geneva). Will arrive end of July - one of the first ones.
The bright colours do all look good, and I was close to ordering in Vermillion red, but in the end have gone for blade silver, as I want something (relatively..) low profile to use most days,
I don't think the configurator images are very life-like, especially the interiors, so I went to factory and to dealer to look at everything 'in the flesh'. First reviews should be in mags within the next few weeks - I hope they are as good as the S ones!

Congrats. I was tempted by the GT. It's a cracking looking car. The bright colours do all look good, and I was close to ordering in Vermillion red, but in the end have gone for blade silver, as I want something (relatively..) low profile to use most days,

Know what you mean about the configurator. Colour wise it's pretty basic and offers a limited range compared to the actual colour choices available. Like you, we're doing the factory visit before deciding on final spec and colour. Can't wait!
I finally did the deed and spec'd my car on Saturday. Colour was hardest choice. Very nearly swapped to Ventura Orange but in the end we ordered:
Volcano yellow
Black leather interior with yellow contrast stitching
Yellow calipers
Stealth finish wheels, exhaust and badge set
Luxury pack
Security pack
Sports exhaust
Carbon interior pack
Due early Feb for collection 1 March. Cannot wait!

Yellow seems to be unpopular when ordering new, there are very few yellow 12c's or 650s' that I've seen........but then on the used market, it's always saturated with Orange, Grey, Black and White cars.........I look forward to the pics!!

Almost the same spec as mine except for Alcantara seats and Palladium roof. Here's a few pictures to whet your appetite.Volcano yellow

The pictures do not do the car justice, almost 600 miles done, no niggles to report.
