The most frequent comments I get about my 650S:
I. I didnt think it was supposed to be that loud.
2. It looks a lot better in the flesh than in photos
3. The longer you own it, the better it gets

I have done 3000 miles in all conditions this last year. I have never done that sort of milage in any collectable I own. Nuff said

Insane. No one in their right mind is going to pay that sort of money regardless of mileage and condition for a vanilla flavour 360.

Think of a number, add a 0 on the end and hope some sucker takes the bait

Mine was sounding louder than ever tonight. Don't know whether it was the balmy 20C evening or the fact its just turned 4,000 miles and starting to free up a bit more.
A poster on McLaren Life said her 12C was noticeable faster and louder at 20,000 miles.

I don't know if I can wait 5 years.

I even had the obligatory " Is that a P1 mate ?" Always makes me smile that they think its a £2m car

Looks are in the eye of the beholder.
Very subjective but one of the reasons I didn't buy a 12c was the front end lights and bumper.
Thought they were very bland and UN supercar looking.
As soon as I saw the P1 style swan lights on 650S I went wow and thought 12c was an ugly duckling in comparison.
The 650 looked good for about 4 or 5 days.

The 12c on the other hand has aged incredibly well.

Balanced, tasteful, elegant.
+1

Thought the 12c was stunning and park it up any where it will draw a lot of attention, park it next to the 650s and that will just get more attention. Looks played a big part in my purchase and in the showroom there was plenty of exotic machinery but the 650s just drew me away from anything else.
I just see the lights as a McLaren logo design and think it works really well especially with the front splitter and gives a more aggressive look

Always hankered after an Audi R8, there was a brand new V10 sport + next to the 650s along with a 12c in the same showroom. Couldn't believe how plain the R8 was but the 12c whilst quietly sublime just didn't have the presence of the 650s. Maybe it was the colour but mostly how it looks. Anyway, you make your choice and pay the money. Don't care too much about re sale I expect to loose thousands having this car but the journey I have with it is worth it at the moment.

Never seen your username before. Bishbosh is my other nickname biggrin

You have great taste in cars as well thumbup
