There seems to have been a number of 12Cs appearing for sale privately in the last week or so. People running for the Brexit? Can't help values a lot.

Other sites are available. And they're mainly new in the last week or so.

2/11 on Ebay
5/18 on Autotrader
3/21 on PH

I can’t believe I’ve actually just gone and counted…. It was a general observation based upon my anecdotal observation (nevertheless borne out by the empirical evidence). No one claimed a ‘flood’ or ’saturation’, simply that more private cars had appeared in the last week or so.

Its all relative. These are rare cars in the scale of things with only 3,500 worldwide and about 300 in the UK.
650S is rarer again with circa 2,500 worldwide and 200 in the UK.
Normally you will pay through the nose with this sort of exclusivity yet look at the prices compared with a 430 Scuderia or 458 Speciale.
In comparison the McLaren is the bargain of the century.

I get that. My concern us that McLaren will churn out loads more and the market fir such cars is not infinite. And few would own one without a warranty. It is a supercar, with super size bills.

No, you claimed an increase in private listings was "People running for the Brexit? Can't help values a lot".....Eg a floos of cheap private sales hurting residuals due to Brexit..........You may have a point if there was 50-60 cars for sale.....

McLaren wont be building anymore 12c's or 650S with production switched to 540/570S now. The numbers are what they are and only getting smaller as cars are exported, put in collections or written off. The 570s by mclarens own admission is the sports not supercar series so not in the same league. Warranties are available but TBH the reliability of these cars seems more robust than their Italian counterparts and there are far more Mclarens with high mileage than Ferrari's

The replacement P14 isn't until 2018 and will be best part of £300k all specced up

IIRC a few more came to market this time last year.

Took mine to Burghley today. Around 600 Astons. Lovely day out again. There can't be many more than 600 Mclarens in total on UK roads?

Damn was that yours - the silver one? I didn't realise, I should've said hi. Nice car. Whose was the 650s that was parked next to yours later in the day?

Funnily enough I put a deposit down on a similar looking 12c to yours the other day. Can't beat an Aston + Mclaren British combo... biggrin

Thanks. Yep- that was mine. Not sure whose the 650 was.

It's a fabulous machine. Love it. Unbelievably fast.

Did you go for the Tom Hartley car?

You still got the Virage as well?

Yeah the speed and handling were a different world to anything I've driven. Amazing value right now for what you're getting.

The one I went to see was at Mclaren Birmingham:

Insane amount of carbon fibre options and good mileage.

Sadly no. The Virage is a beautiful car. Loved the experience. Just the rear seats became a bit unusable as my kids grew about 3 feet taller in the 3 years I had it. The orange one at Burghley was lovely...day dreams...

That Brum car looks very nice. The guys up there are very helpful.

When do you collect it?

Sweet. Lovely spec car at bargain price there.

Only 3 12C spiders for sale currently with cheapest at £153k Retail.
Supply is drying up and prices firming along with it.
Only 9 650S spiders for sale so expect those prices to firm up as well
