12c trade bids
Discussion
12C's are hot property right now and apart from being the best supercars out there are most definitely the fastest selling right now.
Long overdue IMHO but finally the car is being appreciated for how good it is and these bargain prices will not continue so I can see the McLaren bucking the trend of falling prices and actually firming up as supply dries up.
Sod Brexit basic supply and demand applies to McLarens where supply is limited in real terms and demand is continually growing

+1 from me too. I just bought a 12C Spider from him this week. Went to see him (Alastair) today. Top bloke and a top car too
Mama Mia, is it my imagination or have four of us on this forum bought Mclarens this week? One 12c coupe two spiders and one 650s spider. Well done.

Yes its called the classified section ....approx 12 coupes for sale and 3 spiders (one of those is sold) which get snapped up even quicker in the right colour and spec.
Exactly its clear to see the turnover/movement of these cars versus say 458's and huracans that have sat for 6 or 12 months +.Edited by TISPKJ on Tuesday 12th July 12:14
The tide has definitely turned and I can only see the trend continuing.
I cant think of another supercar ( well ok maybe with the exception of a 675 LT spider )
I'd rather have at the moment even if I was to double my budget ( which I don't have lying around )

surprised now though as normally school / summer holidays slows things down considerably.

we had a similar situation early this year when 10/12 cars sold in the same month.

Maybe the summer has resulted in high demand for spiders? Although I haven't seen much sun recently... surprised now though as normally school / summer holidays slows things down considerably.

Just got offered £95k for mine (late 2011 11,000 miles) in part ex for a GT3 RS. No plans to change but was curious.
That's a good offer from a trader. They probably have plenty of margin spare in the GT3RS and prices are dropping back on them so they will be keen to move stock on.TISPKJ said:

Congratulations.Even I'm amazed at how fast these cars are being snapped up nowadays. Its got to be good for residuals with demand continuing to grow and supply reduce.
I've done my usual 18 month ownership stint but have absolutely no desire to go and buy anything else out there at the moment at any price either.
I think owners are going to start to hold onto these cars longer only fueling the increase in prices

Interesting that it appears a few 12c owners are now upgrading to 650s. There must be at least 3 on the Mac owners FB group with a few more tempted.
It's great for the marque, gets more new people into the 12c's as well.
I think in part this is due to prices on the 650 finally finding a level as the 12c did a year or so back, I don't see either model moving too much from these levels with regard to change costs. It's great for the marque, gets more new people into the 12c's as well.
I could with a bit of luck both ways change up to a 650 for 30k now whereas that was more like 50k a year ago.
edited to say Im talking coupe specifically, but suspect spider same gap.
