I know of a 12c sypder, late 2013, sub 10k miles, still some warranty etc
Got traded in for a chunk under £130k - probably will get retailed closer to £140k

Almost identical age / spec to mine...was slightly disappointed to see such a low transaction value.
Do you mean that you expected it to be worth more in a trade bid?

That sounds a good trade bid to me.

Depends on how much under 130k & if it was traded against another car or an outright trade sale...

OMG. I hope trade bids are not relative to how much you weigh.

I'm a mean lean 11 stone so my car is worthless or should I actually say priceless

Perhaps ...means currently running at £1500 a month in ownership costs

'Chunk'.......as in chunk of change biggrin

Can't give exact amount as no doubt it will be listed for sale soon ...

Sorry to diverge slightly, but I'd rather not start yet another 'looking for a 12C' thread!

Does anyone know anything about the Titanium Silver 2011 upgraded car currently for sale at Romans? My hunch is that its on SOR, my logic being Romans would have removed the awful vinyl wrap off the roof if they owned it. Will enquire, but thought I'd just make sure its kosher here first. Cheers

Speak to the OP for details I suspect.

It sounds a very good bid when a brand new high spec new 650S spider could be bought for £180k a few months ago. I still prefer the look of the 12C though, maybe others agree and are happy to pay over the odds for the 12C or they just don't realise that you can get such good deals on new cars (sometimes).

Don't recall any high spec new spiders at £180k. You would struggle to get a new coupe for that price.
Average used 2014 spiders are £180k but congratulations if you have managed to steal yourself a bargain

In late 2013 you could buy an off the shelf Spider for £189k versus a list price of £235k. Apart from the pre ordered cars, all others sell at a discount. Bentley does the same - dealers can sell you a car pre specced at list thus getting all the extras free.

Not sure you can buy 'today' a brand new decent spec 650s spyder for £180k - if you can I'll buy one

Mate sold his 2 year old one only a couple months ago for £175k

- it might have happened a year or so ago but not lately (brand new decent spec spyder -£180k)

Cheers

Interesting to see only 1 right hand drive 12c Spider anywhere in the UK. The general feeling from the dealers is that the car is now seen as a game changer with looks aging extremely well.
Pricing is expected to start increasing and one dealer felt that the base level for 12c Spiders would be 150k plus which is still cheap against the 458 Spider. Although own one I am a keeper but it's great to seem the car being appreciated finally. Will be interesting to see where prices go and thoughts welcome
