Good man. Looks absolutely stunning - enjoy it sir!! Shame the weather has been so bad - that car needs to be on the road!!

Does it have any protection film ?
Thank you! I'm really happy with the 12C (having never had a McLaren before I didn't know what to expect) so it has been frustrating indeed not to be able to use it as much as I would like due to this crappy weather. I recently dropped it off with McLaren Ascot (where I bought it from) to have the recommended Suntek Paint Protection Film (PPF) installed. Then it's off for a few European driving holidays and the odd track day. I honestly can't think of another used supercar with this performance and pedigree for the price.

Yup. At the price point I think the McLaren is an absolute bargain, considering the performance on offer.

Feels like it competes with cars that are 30-40% more expensive.

Just got back home having collected the 12C from McLaren Ascot after its paint protection film application (you can't even see it!) and pre-track day inspection. I can't wait to take it around the Nurburgring in April. I'll let you know how I get on!

Enjoy it, you've the Supercar bargain of the century. Twelve months in mine now and it always puts a smile on my face. Couple of small issues that have been sorted under warranty. Be prepared for conversations at every petrol station! You should join the owners group for support and events across the U.K. Great bunch of folk.

Thank you smile

I'll certainly look to join the owners group but living and working in Brussels, Belgium (as well as Cobham, Surrey) means I won't get to spend as much time as I would like with the 12C. Having said that, I've booked a number of trips and track days already, including Le Mans test day and Nurburgring. I can't wait!

Love mine, what an epic thing it is. Carbon tub, lovey balance, active aero, more power than most things and great British engineering!

Took the 12C for a blast to my local Porsche dealership last weekend..I was once a Porsche fanboy, having been lucky enough to have owned (and regularly track) a 997 GT3RS, 997 GT2 and Cayman R, but after being mucked around by my local centre for too long I decided to turn my back on Stuttgart and welcome Woking. It's a decision I have not regretted one bit. As I walked around the dealership I certainly appreciated but didn't lust after any of their stock. Indeed, I noticed that their 2014 Turbo S is on the market for quite a bit more than what I paid for my 12C and their 911 GTS is on for only a bit less. I appreciate these are very different performance cars which appeal to different buyers, but it was no contest as far as I was concerned!

Bet they were well chuffed with you parking the McLaren right outside for all their prospective customers to lust over.
As capable as Porsches might be I can't say they excite me 1 bit. Its Porsche city where I live and they just don't stand out at all as a supercar

Agreed. Only the GT3RS really excited me but the 12C is in a different league.

With rear spacers and geo the 12C is an excellent thing. An RS 2.7 is also exciting
