Hi folks, I'm in need of a new set of rears.

Does anyone have any contacts for suppliers without having to go through the main dealer?

Are there any other options on tyres other than the Pirelli PZero Corsa specific to the LP570-4?

Thanks

Try mytyres.co.uk. Search for the Corsas and make sure you get the Lambo fitment. Alternatively Michelin make a Lambo fitment tyre too.

Might be worth holding off a few days, in case there are any Xmas or NY sales on. Probably not huge discounts for a premium tyre, but you never know etc.

for the 2007/8 superleggera, there were two p zero options from the factory

lambo-specific p zero corsas were the track-orientated tyre with a health warning for use in the damp/cold ( ie the uk ! )

i chose lambo-specific "ordinary" p zeroes

If your car is not a daily, get trofeo tyres , but you might have to get a full set to keep the diffs happy...

Im also looking for a set of tyres for my SL1 - so the P Zero Corsas.

Have seen people mention lambo specific tyres but for some odd reason the Left Rear is not currently available. I have noticed the same size and spec tyres specified for different car manufacturers for example Corsa System 295/30/19 XL 100 AM8 - which is for Astons. Are they actually any different ?

In a word, yes.

I've never fitted the Corsas as I use my car as daily transport. The difference between standard P-Zeros and the "L"-marked tyres were really noticeable on my car. Standard XLs constantly bothered the stability system. Not so the Ls. The sidewall stiffness is tuned to the AWD nature of the car.

I've got the opposite problem: my supplier says they can get the rears, but no UK available stock of fronts and no production date from Pirelli!

Do you think this is true and if so, how long might it be before Pirelli get another batch out??

Would you mind letting me know the supplier and quoted price?

I don't know bout the fronts but it's not uncommon for supply of specialist tyres to dry up for a while.

Stick a pair of "Nankangs" from KwikFit on it until the Pirellis are ready .. lol

My supplier is local to me in the Channel Islands - they are not holding stock..

Assuming it is true that we've got to wait for pirelli to fire up the production on these - how long might we be waiting?? Months... Years..?

I know the Countach guys get excited when once in a blue moon some obscure tire is re-released... surely it won't be the same with a G?

Friend of mine is a tyre supplier - he spoke to Pirelli UK and they are on back order so unless someone has something on the shelf it is any ones guess as to when they will become available again. Some dealers have sets but they are charging a premium - twice the usual price. Not worth it in my opinion, you can get normal P Zeros if you want a all year round tyre, Trofeos for track focus, or even Michelin PS Cup 2 for some middle ground.

Looking into the Michelin Pilot Super Sport option.... seems there's loads of positive reviews and favourable comments from Gallardo owners about this tyre.

Seems like this could be the way forward?

The Pirelli Pzero Corsa fronts are in stock with Tyre Leader, Lamborghini fitment. Can't find the rears anywhere.

In the absence of an available full set of Pirellis, I've just had a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports fitted.

First impressions are very good, tons of grip ( mind you my old P Zeroes were well out of date) and a bit of a smoother ride.

Just for information, ATS Euromaster currently has P Zero Corsas front and rear for SL2 LP570 with L rating in stock. £1064.00 for the set fitted.
