Spoken to a few journo mates who have driven it at the launch.

Can't say too much, but it does a Spinal Tap on the LT. Turns everything up to 11.

But also supremely comfortable, practical and easy to drive when you want it to. Savagely fast when you're in the mood.

This is a game changer by all accounts.
Hi Beefmeister, excuse my ignorance, but what is "doing a Spinal Tap" I know they are a band, but know little else about them!

They turned their amps to 11 when everyone else only went to 10.

Hi Dakkon, as you work at Mclaren, you should know! Although I doubt there are going to be many negatives about this wonderful car.

I've stopped looking down the back of the sofa for the missing £180k now I've heard that.

Apparently the Youtubers have decided it's too good. Which makes it bad?

But at least they weren't shy about expressing their view, something I didn't think we would ever see. That JWW chap looked genuinely crestfallen when he was caught on camera being asked "what do you think?".

I still want one though.

Awesome but what else could we expect from McLaren. Leading the way and setting another completely new benchmark in the supercar market.
You can feel the quality and the cabin is just so light and airy, even sounds fruity

Hope they don't put the price up by £100k but that maybe indicative of early premiums. No wonder its SOLD OUT.

Well done McLaren once again

Remember, they own Lamborghini Huracan's, I am sure a fab and exciting car, but not exceptional as the 720S is , no doubt. You could also drive it everyday, but not the Lambo!
