I just cannot get excited about McLaren body design. I so want to like the way they look as I know how good they are but they just don't evoke any emotion. Out of interest what current cars do float your boat, your Gallardo looks great but I was in a showroom earlier today with 4 Huracans and just felt they were underwhelming. They had a 458 in which looked muted in white, and just felt none had the visual drama of a 570s.

How long would a Porsche sales guy last if he told an interested buyer, "hmm the new Caymanera GT6 is more Ferrari than Porsche in it's design"
What a tit.
Anyone with working eyes can se McLaren has it's own design language and it's fundamentally different to Lambos....and mot of the others

More angular was another phrase he used!
I'm not shooting you Sone, and I'd not shoot the McLaren dealer either, that'd be just wrong.
As wrong as his opinion.
He could have an opinion that a circle is a square. That'd be wrong too
Maybe the next model is more angular, but in this case sometimes, personal opinions are wrong, because whichever way you want to slice it, the 720S bares no similarity to Lamborghini in terms of surface treatment.

But his opinion is clearly wrong. The 720S is actually curvier than the 650S. The 650 had some sharp lines around the front end and rear, this is all swooping lines, curves and scoops. I think he was just speaking out of his arse.As wrong as his opinion.

...and even if he wasn't.... you don't compare one of the best car brands out there with another in that way?!
He's effectively admitting the previous cars had no drama and that he feels Lambo do, and that the next models will have a bit of Lambo in them...
You just don't say/admit that kind of stuff.....personal opinion like that should play not part in his sales patter...
