I won't really be tracking the 570S heavily, probably one Pure McLaren day at Spa or Paul Ricard a year and another fang (30 laps across a whole day) at Castle Combe or Bedford. So three track days a year absolute max. Hopefully that will not stress the ceramics too much. I have an E46 M3, 981 Boxster GTS and a Mini JCW in my track day fleet as well so plenty of choice fortunately.

You should be fine in that case imo. Take some time to warm up the brakes before really using them and do a full cooling lap. And don't forget to disengage the parking brake in the pits until the rotor has cooled enough.

Thanks, good tip. Is there a trick to not engaging the handbrake in the 570S? I know some cars can auto-engage handbrake when placed in park.

I'm assuming it's the same procedure as the 12c - foot on the brake, open the door, press down the handbrake switch to keep it off and switch the engine off. Something like that anyway, haven't got on track since oct thanks to the weather!
