Black on a 720 does help disguise the intakes below the headlights smile Every other aspect of the car I love!

I'd order one if I had the cash.
Didn't you have a GT2? Out of interest how does it compare? Not the 720 obviously .

Another piece of advice that you might find helpful is to enquire at a McLaren dealer as to what warranty claims have been made on this car, they may not tell you, but worth a try. Also you may be able to see who the original owner was when you look through the paperwork at the dealer, try to get a number off the paperwork.

Obviously no one on this thread has highlighted themselves as being the previous owner, could try posting on McLaren Life to see if you can make contact with previous owner.

If you are local to Alistair Bols, probably worth looking at his cars or having a chat with him.

Not sure where to begin....all I will say is that the 650S is easily the quickest and best car I've ever driven.

Know a few tall Mclaren drivers - they don't have problems.

Can't remember if the power seats sit lower or higher..
Im 6ft3 and fit fine in an MP4-12C if that's of any use.

JFDI. I bought my 650 spider about 8 months ago and for once I'm not getting the itch for something else. It's epic and super exclusive out on the road. Gets soooo much positive attention (many think it's a P1 lol) from the public and has more than a hint of hypercar about it (probably down to rarity). Anyway, nobody regrets buying a McLaren.

Wow! Must speak volumes as the posts I saw about your GT2 you seemed to really love that car.

Right - I take back everything I said about silver being a bit dull in the 12c/650s

In large part because I've just committed to buying this .....biggrin

Driven many 12c and a few 650s
For what it's worth, if/when I move the 360 on, one of the 2 McLarens will be its replacement, it's tough to quantify just how good they both are until you spend time with them.

Done the deed, gone from late 12c to 650s

Even though I'm a driving god, I am incapable of spotting a huge amount of difference.

Bit more torque, less initial bite from the brakes (650s fitted with carbons) and the cabin appears more quite (as in less wind noise). Electric heated memory seats not as good as the good old manuals (I like to sit low down)
Stereo appears better (sound quality) the speakers are marked up as Meridian DSP ?

Lift is great.

Just purchased a 650s spider in ice silver from Mclaren Bristol. Currently has 6,300 miles. Its a car that they have owned and sold previously so may be your old car.
