Got it, and love it
Guys at Mclaren Glasgow are brilliant, super chilled and made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. Car was prep’d great and looks stunning. Driving home was one of the most sureal experiences of my life, what a car!

Congratulations, Undoubtedly a big leap forward from a Lotus in performance terms and far less raw.
With regards to a front plate, most Macs have no front fittings as you need to drill through the bumper, the exception usually being Mclarens own cars.
In any event not displaying one is non points gathering but can get you a £100 fine if the Police are so inclined. I would chance it until you get stopped and then reconsider

Although I use a local MOT place for other cars - including some expensive ones in the past - I am a bit paranoid about them jacking the carbon tub in the wrong place. Last year, I used B&C - and will again this year I think (I believe they do it on site now)davek_964 said:

Hi All,
Put the deposit down for my first Mclaren 570s, super excited. Used to have Lotus's ( Elise, Exige, and Evora ) but then kids came along and had to sell them. But now they're 5 and 7 they can passenger fine so back in the game. Bought the car from Mclaren Glasglow, Car below got the 2-year McLaren warranty and fresh service on it but want to know if there is anything I need to know / tips/advice. It's going to get used daily and I was told unlike all my lotus's it won't leak.... So fingers crossed The first question, does everyone just chance it and not have a front number plate?
Its got some nice bits on it
Bowers & Wilkins Sounds, MSO Defined Titanium Super Sports Exhaust ( very excited about this!!! ) 5 Twin Spoke Lightweight Wheels, Lux Pack and Security Pack

Ended up getting the Spyder from Mclaren Manchester instead. Overwhelmed with the 570s - sticks to the floor like its on rails.
