What’s the going rate for p1 buckets? It’s the one thing I couldn’t find in a 650 with them. I guess the bigger question is where can you find them?

Apex spares have some, £10k, sennas £20k or you could fit some of the new Artura racing seats. Someone on here bought some P1's for a 650s but think he sold them on.

Or (which im sure ill get flamed for) you could buy some replica Sennas from Aliexpress for £5k, with free returns and money back guarantee it might be worth a try.

Yeah but it also probably comes certified crash tested. It's got nothing to do where it's made, it's how it's made and how it's been tested.

is your interior alcantara or full leather?

I have a full leather set I could be tempted to part with

looks like they are very rare to come up - couple sets on ebay, one for £6.5k but with no rails and no electrics box, another set £10k

So I'd say target price would be £7-8k for a plug and play set in good condition

I can confirm they are transformational in feel, and a decent weight saving !

I'm a bit confused; I have P1 buckets fitted, but I wasn't aware you could have any electrics fitted to them.

I also have a set of embossed 675 'comfort' part leather / alcantara seats that have the electric inc heated in the attic.

Can you elaborate for me? Ta.

Ahh, of course.

The difference in weight between the P1s and comforts is pretty incredible when you actually lift one of each.

I bought with P1s fitted, after a year had them swapped during a service with comforts that came with the car, then promptly had the P1s fitted less than 4 weeks later.

My 650 had comforts and I thought they were pretty near the comfiest seats I sat in, however, after P1s it's impossible to go back to comforts.

Best of luck sourcing.

He sent some photos when i enquired and they had the right Mclaren stickers and inlaid company logo of who makes them for Mclaren so guessing they were. Seems a lot are advertised at strong money, but they dont seem to sell.
