434 miles! Oof, that's even more of a brave-pill car than the one the OP bought.

"The car’s last MOT test took place on 28 September 2020 at 433 miles"
Hasn't turned a wheel in three and a half years. yikes

"this vehicle will need to pass a fresh MOT test before it can be driven on the road"
I would guess it would need a *lot* more than that if someone plans to actually drive it.

That will be worth double in Europe. Even if it needs £20k spent which is unlikely the buyer will make a decent profit.

That looked a good buy.

Going to Europe they’d have vat/duty to pay. However at 20% that makes it circa £100k.

Saw the car at V-Engineering today, doesn't look too bad all things considered, sorting the head lights will make a big difference and a good polish!

Keeping my eye on this thread, I bought a Gallardo instead of a Mac as the potential for crippling bills put me off owning a car I've loved enter since I regularly drive an old boss's example a decade ago.

im sure it will be out and about, im enjoying the STO at the min,

one of my trailers is collecting the car tommorow, total invoice £1200 breakdown below of whats been done, i do need to get the lights polished up if anyone has any contacts for that.

ive ordered 4 new tyres via V out of stock most places it seems so they will get sent upto me next week so she has fresh boots, i want to get it wrapped a diffrent colour as silver was never my fave, satin black maybe? someone shout some ideas with pics!

from V:

all good with the 12C, annual service, clutch oil and filter change, gearbox oil and filter change as well. Battery and dash were on old software levels, which probably caused the SBC lock out. Dash was also out of sync with the battery as well, now all sorted.

the story continues!

You'd have thought with something that critical there would have been redundancy. I thought the LED brightness was governed by the flash rate and envisioned some dry joint on a driver unit somewhere.

Glad it was easily sorted, i must say I find it a lot easier sorting faults on the 3 vehicles we have that don't have diagnostic ports smile
