Give the guy a break - his posts on driving dymanics are very interesting. I'd rather have more of that, than some tedious pedantry about terminology and typos.

Since when did engineers need to know how to spell - "I used to want to be an engineer and now I is one".

Whilst I agree that I'd rather see posts about driving dynamics than pedantry, the above comments were unnecessary. My pedantry was tongue in cheek btw.

And I am (an engineer) .. who works in the Black Country as it happens ! But I don't get a buzz to work .

Hope you enjoy your test drive , if you haven't driven an EV you will find it quite a different driving experience

I've gone for the light cloth interior with a but of wood. Does this mean I get the disco lights? Plus when we say advance interior lights do we mean they change their shade (like what I've got in my BMW) or akin to the new MINIs?

You get a blue interior light when unlocking the car which changes to white when you open the door. The ambient lighting colours are either red or white as per other modern beemers.

I'm actually a little disappointed, I think it makes those mini interiors just a little funkier especially when driving at night.

I've organised it via the i3 Facebook group. Should be a good turnout. Meeting around 11am at the park. BMWi are coming along. This is our 3rd big meeting (there have been a few smaller ones).

Not sure I am bothered about ambient lighting but it always disappoints me when the blue light goes off as you open the door

Did you run out of Volts on your test drive and not got home yet to tell us about your drive ?

That was 88 pages ago - there has been a bit of thread drift since then . Anyway that's good news as I thought you were worried about constipation .
