Kits are becoming available for Common rail petrol engines. I have a pricelist somewhere for them, do remember there being prices for VAG stuff on it.

The issue of rail overheat is apparently solved by the vehicle using a % petrol/LPG mix but nobody seemed to be able to tell me what % it was!

This type of system is going to have an effect on the mileage to break even. On my mileage when I did my V70, taking the saving in purchase price of a petrol car over diesel, it was 10k miles. If I'm using petrol at all times that will increase the mileage.

Obviously these systems are more expensive to buy & install so will increase that point even further.
