So its roughly £190 a month for three years, around £7000 total then you give the car back. Wouldn't it make more sense to buy it outright? My local renault dealer is selling them with a few hundred miles for £11,000 (unsure if a lease is required here).
You will need to lease the battery on those.

Looks like the stock of white cars is fast running out. Anyone have a black one? What's it like?

OK so for 10k miles on both the car and battery I'm looking at £110 for the car and £63 for the battery, plus £250 deposit for a 2 year PCP. GAP insurance is an extra £14pm, so am deliberating whether I need this or not.

Sounds like the deals are only valid until the end of December and delivery will be next week if I go ahead. Just going for final budgetary approval tonight and will hopefully pull the trigger tomorrow and join the PH Zoe group buy. smile

Thanks to IN51GHT for the heads up on this deal by the way - believe that Daniel was concluding a deal with another PH'er just before my call so a fair bit of business gone his was by the sounds of it!

And I've just been quoted

7500miles
£250 deposit

£50/month battery
£94.98 rental

So just less than £145 per month.

I just need to see one in real life now.

I'm highly likely to sign a 2 yr pcp deal in the morning, although isn't the battery lease a minimum of 3 years? Will this cause any problems do you think, as I have no intentions of keeping the car after the 2 yr term.

Driven one for about 20 miles this morning - great piece of kit, will be into the dealer later to have a chat about trade in/deals on offer

Minimum is 12 months on battery lease. Price goes up though

Just check your battery lease is 2 years same as the PCP term. Based on the research I did, if you sign up for a 3 year on the battery, after 2 years the new owner needs to sign to take over the lease or you are liable to pay it.

Just had an email from Daniel at Renault Sheffield. He's asked me to let you know any cars ordered from today are looking to be delivered to the dealer around 31st Dec.

Picking mine up next Thur/Fri hopefully. We need a Zoe owners thread. biggrin

Anyone looked at leccy supplier tarifs for home charging? I can't seem to see any that offer low rates for night charging?

I may be able to super fast charge whilst having breakfast at asda but this needs further investigation. As a Zoe can charge on the fast ones without need for extra cables I'm going to explore free charging as much as possible

She has sat in but not driven a Zoe, and yes she thinks it's higher up or at least easy for a shorty to see out of.
The leaf was to be her car but we decided whilst her dad is ill / elderly that we will keep her murano for the time being as such Zoe is a third car between 2 of us.

We've just been to see one this afternoon at our local dealer.

It was the "Zen" model so has an in-built air freshener and teflon applied to the light coloured fabric. As oppose to the "intens" which has no air freshener but gains a rear view camera and dark interior (no teflon).

The gloss white interior of the one we drove was quite grubby already and I imagine this will be a biatch to keep clean, I also think a revering camera on a rented car is bloody useful so we are getting a quote for a flat white intens.

I didn't drive it due to having one of the kids with us (and me having terrible sinusitis) but the seating position was very roomy indeed, I'm 6'4" and had loads of room. The way it zooms off down the road was very "tron-light cycle" esque too, very cool. She really liked it anyway so depending on what they come back with tomorrow we're getting one ordered one way or another hopefully.

Man maths has been at work and our current car (2005 2.0HDI Citroen C5) costs us a tank of fuel per month (£80), insurance (£20) and in the last 6 months has stung us for £320 in repairs (say£25 per month average). So you're talking £125/month to run the current car, that my Mrs hates driving, vs £145 for a new car that will cost pennies to run. Including insurance we reckon it's only an extra £50 odd quid per month to get the new car!

You must be using the same calculator as me Dave! Would suggest you've missed the cost of an MOT and an annual service on your existing car too... Got to average out at around £20 a month I'd have thought??
Are you still looking at 7.5k miles as your previous quoted price was as good as I've seen?
