So, the firm that Renault Sheffield is using to deliver my Zoe has just called and asked if I mind taking a deliver on Thursday evening rather than Friday morning....

So, tomorrow night, it will be here!

It doesn't say on the website, but you can upgrade your rental contract so that works out at approx 8p per mile.

Can someone explain the mileage limit/allowance on the battery lease?

For what it's worth, I'd need around 10k per year...
For 10K a year I got quoted 195 over 36 months. That included metallic paint though which adds nearly £20 per month!

No that's just the battery mind. For the PCP its another 4.5p per mile as I recall.

So if you want to hand the car back get the mileage correct up front or you will get stung later.

There's two separate penalties. The battery lease (8p) and the PCP (4.5p or maybe 5p not sure). So you need to add both up and x by the additional mileage.

I got told a straight 8p per mile. Don't have anything in writing to back that up though. Documents haven't arrived yet.

Sorry you have been mis-informed. I have both my PCP and Battery lease agreement in writing, two separate charges.

I'm 28th as the technician needs to fit the armrest - I think the armrest will significantly distance my Zoe from others allowing a degree of one upmanship essential for my automotive well being.
A rear badge stating "armrest inside" will be procured

Given that my home charge point isn't being installed until 5 Jan and that I am, therefore, quite likely to end up stranded with flat batteries somewhere, maybe an armrest would be a good option for me. Or a sleeping bag to lie curled up on the back seat in until the flatbed arrives to rescue me!

Is it really taking them that long to fit an armrest with 2 self tapping screws? hehe

lol smile

It's only a small thing in the grand scheme of life but an armrest in an auto box car is the difference between just muddling along and knowing (and feeling) you've made it.

Will you please post a full and frank review of said item in order to inform our future Ebay purchases.

Regarding the dash from the sales chap:
"Some people were finding that the lighter dash was causing sight issues so Renault offered black dash replacements to people if they needed it. Its not compulsory but in 2015 they may be producing all Zoe with black dash. I actually prefer the lighter dash"

Hi all,

Getting steadily more jealous watching this thread grow...

I'm off to Renault Slough in the morning to cast my eyes over one of these new-fangled devices.
