Ask if he's heard anything about getting the charge whine transmitted into household appliances will you, see if he gives you a funny look. Test it if you can with him still there. See if you get any weird sounds through your TV, microwave or electric hob.
All done =)
Is a bit er messy but hey ho !
Most importantly it works
I can't hear any obvious interference at the moment, the chap said he hasn't heard of anything but he seemed to just to installs.
He left mine at just after six and was meant to be going to another job ! Poor chap said he has been doing 70/80 hr weeks, spends nights away from home etc.
I watched him do all the sparky stuff inside so I know how to take it out when we move.

Well no complaints my end so far.
Yesterday I took the better half out shopping and we got free parking in the town. The rapid charger got the car from 25% to 80% in just over an hour. I'd have stayed longer but its an expensive exercise introducing a woman + a credit card to Debenhams.
Then, given we had the charge, nipped over to tescos for some food shopping. Got the charger again and got home with more charge than when we left!
Free fuel, Free parking, nipping-quick stress free motoring, Can't be bad.
Oh the whole pre-heat thing - just plug it in overnight and use the local setting on the car. It always works and doesn't use your battery. ZE services remote app is only really good checking if your car is charged up.

Assuming I get the car back today this weekend will be the first weekend that the Zoe has to perform as a real car.
we've sold the wife's Honda Jazz, the Mini 5dr isn't here until the 1st March, the campers being re-fitted & the 4th car is a two seater, so time for the Zoe to step up to the mark.

I have used the car all week instead of my V8 for my 5.5 mile commute, I haven't charged it since sunday and it says 29 miles left, heater has been on, lights on and its been garaged. I have used the app to heat up at breakfast so its warm when I get in and I could get used to it as my commuter. It has a bit of wind noise around the door at 60+ and the GUI drives me nuts as its so overly complicated (I may get used to it).
I bought it for my missus to replace her Murano but it might replace my Infinity and I will get the Mrs and Outlander once the used ones start to appear.
I am really impressed with this little car

First time of using ours last night & sure enough, there's a high pitched hum coming from the microwave &, to a lesser extent, from the plasma TV, but not from a LED TV also downstairs!
Interesting!I've got chargmaster/BG/Phjones/whoever is subbed out to come back on Friday 13th feb to have a poke around mine and see what's what.
I'm not convinced they will find fault with the wiring, or the charge point. Out of interest, I don't suppose there's anyone in Leeds with one that would be willing to give my point a go to see if the hum is down to my car is there? I'll make you a cup of tea.
Whining - my spark when fitting my point said it was good that we had a sort of sub fusebox to connect it to, it has the gates on and bypasses the normal fusebox and has now 2 trips on it for the car charger and the gate motors - I have no issues with whine or anything. Maybe that's the answer (will take pic when home)

And has hairBack on thread, I have the Zoe back, heating works, now just need to build confidence in the car after a battery failure on the first car after 150miles & HVAC failure on replacement car after 1 mile.
