Reference the dent on my Zoe, Daniel from Sheffield Renault is on the case getting somebody to come & sort, the dent lined up exactly with where your knee would rest when tightening the trailer ratchet straps, so certainly done post PDI.

Stargazer30: Energy Blue, Intens spec: 11K/year: Big mortgage, need to save £££
smn159: Poverty White: Intens spec: 10k / year: New car for not much more per month than my 200k miles diesel- plus I fancied one
FastNReliable: Artic White: Intens: 10k/ year: I like the notion of an EV and this one costs less than my petrol bill
BigBen: Sort of a Grey colour iirc: 7.5k / year: seems like a good idea.
IN51GHT: Skinflint white: 10,000/year/ 3 year infill until I'm convinced Tesla have battery issues sorted.

Here is mine. I have been doing some more research and it turns out that grey ones are in fact fastest.

Things I want to be able to do next:

i) change the low speed pedestrian safety noise to that of KITT from Knight Rider
ii) enable the ZE app to talk to my smart watch

That's the colour I'd have gone for given a choice......

If white wasn't available!!! LOL

My skinflint white one is coming from lookers Scotland - crazy I'm excited to get it considering we have a V6 and a V8 to play with. Will be after Xmas now.

Charged mine on the ecotricity rapid charger at Doncaster services this morning - worked perfectly. 45 minutes from 11 to 99%

Dropping a couple of DVDs onto a USB stick now so I have something to watch whilst waiting for it to charge

The coolant system is to cool the battery when it is charging. There are all sorts of fans whirring when you plug it into a rapid charger

Handled a 41 mile (31 mile motorway) journey beautifully this morning. Same again this afternoon on the way home...

Oh dear, as a result of buying the Zoe, I'm doing the previously unthinkable thing....

I'm off to ASDA for some basic provisions as they have free EV charging right outside the door.

What has become of me???

Still, I'll be killing two birds with one stone.... charging the car & and afternoons entertainment watching the local chavs.

Please advise what rip program and settings it likes as I think it will be "tricky" to achieve first time but things may have moved on

I'm liking it in grey, looks almost silver in the pic.
I wish Renault had offered the same colours as the Clio, I'd have gone for the metalic red or deeper blue.

One thing that surprised me. The Zoe looks quite a small car, until I parked next to a VW Tiguan, there's only about 1' difference.

I'm lucky... the supermarket with a charger nearest me is a Waitrose. So I get to watch country folk and faux middle class.

I think the Zoe does a much better job of hiding its size than the Clio does.

Did my first real journey in it today. Country roads so different to my test drive. Because it's so smooth and quiet you're almost insulated from the speed you subtly climb to. Will have to pay attention to when speed limits drop.

Had 31 miles 'in the tank' when I got to Waitrose. Plugged it into one of their chargers (7kw I think) and gained 10 miles in a quick shop. As I pop in and do a quick shop every couple of days rather than a normal shop once a week I reckon that will do most of my needs and just top it up at home... and of course get it warmed up every morning. Really looking forward to that.

The incentive I mentioned was on the Renault website, £250 of shopping vouchers if you take delivery until the 31/12. Anyone else get this? It seems to have gone now.

I am paying £172pm, £156 deposit for 2 years for Intens in blue. Can anyone englighten me on what the range will be for me in these sort of temperatures for motorway driving? I have to travel from Welwyn to Reading services on the M4. Concerned I won't make it in the winter.

That was only at a dealer group called Renault retail not franchised dealers as far as I could see.

Took mine into town today, better parking than the disabled spaces in Cambridge, however I needed a Chargemaster card which I don't have. Then went to some services to try an Ecotricity point for sport, not bad and free.

Also discovered a charge point at the hotel in my village, conveniently located near the pub I spend most of my spare time in.....

Thanks Ben, you are right about the incentive. Looks like you can have a chargemaster app which negates the need for a card https://www.polarinstant.com/
