One of the first people to drive our demo went over a massive pothole and ruined a tyre and flat spotted one of our 17's. Wasn't cheap!!

Tried a little slip streaming on my way to work this morning with a 7.5 tonner, journey took only a minute or so longer, eased the Mpkw out to 4.02.

I'm getting increasingly fekd off with the heating. Constantly having to adjust the settings to keep it comfortably warm. Had it on 25deg, auto - and it's blowing cool air in my face ffs!!

The only way to get it warm seems to be to set it to max temp then manually control the fan.

Is anyone elses troublesome?

Yes - exactly the same issue but not all the time which makes me think its faulty

My heating is pretty good on non Eco, but poor when in Eco mode

Pretty sure footed in the snow this morning, probably a combination of the lardy weight and relatively skinny tyres

5 weeks into Zoe ownership, still no home charger.

Tried to get a Rolec charger installed, need to use Jorro to install it in Glasgow.

Keep on saying that they can't get parts, getting pretty hacked off now!

Got my new black dash though smile

Ours usually sits at 23-24 on eco and feels comfortable, usually directing the air up and down?

Ours does display a noticeable drop in temperature of the airflow, once it reaches the requested temp & can feel cool for a few minutes, until it kicks back into heating again.

Wasn't sure if it was just a characteristic of the heat pump system in the Zoe. Certainly has no problem in keeping the cabin nice & warm as required on a longer trip.

As someone else has said, it does seem to reflect more on the climate control gubbins than the heating mechanics.

Can I park at the Cambridge park and ride, charge the Zoe, and not actually use the ride part? Taking part in a marathon nearby at the University sports centre.

Don't know about Cambridge but last year in Leicester they introduced EV charging at a Park & Ride and within a few weeks this email was sent out.

As a result of the abuse of the facility, Leicester City Council has temporarily removed the charging facility until they can change the terms and conditions of using both car parks to mean that only Park and Ride users are allowed to take up parking spaces and charge up.

Yes, but they charge for parking. The park and cycle also has a charge point iirc

Sorry full of questions today, we want to take the Zoe to Paris in April. Is this feasible, and do I need an adaptor?

Just about to take the plunge on a Zoe (Intens with 17" alloys) through my employers salary sacrifice scheme, works out at £256 a month (all costs covered) for 10k miles pa. My commutes only 20-30 miles per day so it think it should suit me well.

How are you guys finding the switch to EV? I never thought I'd ever consider one, I'm actually quite excited to try something different.

They're great as long as it all works ok.

Renault dealers are st at dealing with issues, simple as that really.

Given your mileage then you'll be having to charge it every day in this weather, assuming a round trip of 40-60 miles.

If you can charge for free at work then you're on to a winner but even if not it's no hardship to plug it in.

Sound like you have a similar scheme to my work, I think ours is the same monthly cost and there's no deposit, and includes insurance + maintenance (inc tyres). The cheapo PCP deals in December were cheaper but that's a moot point as it looks like they aren't on anymore.

Overall, we really like ours and it suits us perfectly.

Its not faulty dude. My Zoe is exactly the same. If you use auto its only going to blow hot air for the first 10 mins then it'll go cool. If you want it at a fixed set temp then use manual and it'll be fine (but will use more power).

I'm kinda getting used to it now. Then I go drive our Qashqai and its the opposite lol, freezing cold for 10 mins then you get roasted.

Besides do you really want your local Renault pulling your new car to bits, I wouldn't trust them to open a tin of beans, that was already open.

I love mine. I'm commuting 54 miles a day for three days a week then 100 miles for one day. When I got the car I thought that I's use the Zoe for the shorter commute and the Freelander for the longer one, but in fact I prefer to use the Zoe for all of my commuting. On the longer trip I need to charge up at the services, but 30 mins is usually enough to take it to 90%.

I bought mine on a bit of a whim really when the cheap December deals were on, but I'd definitely have another one
