Sorry, I thought it was you, only read the 1st name! smile

I'll get rid, he may not want to be implicated in anything untoward.
He laughed.

Back on thread, I have the Zoe back, heating works, now just need to build confidence in the car after a battery failure on the first car after 150miles & HVAC failure on replacement car after 1 mile.

Just dropped into IKEA Warrington to top up with a few free electrons and after becoming used to being a unique car around these parts, pull into the charging bay to find this...!
I was surprised, and disappointed to learn that the charge post can only serve one car at a time, despite the 2 spaces.

Which is bks really.
That really is toss. Who thought that was good idea?

I'm pleased to say this weekend was the first weekend the Zoe HAD to work as normal car as it's currently tho only operational 4 seater we have, it performed faultlessly, after my previous problems I must say I'm relived.

Right that's cursed it then. Its going to burn down Monday AM tongue outlaugh
Hope not as the wife has it all day today & tomorrow. The plus side of that is I can lay claim to her new Mini for a few days when it arrives!

So who's going to hazard a guess as to the "goodwill payment" Renault offered me.

The total I paid in lease whilst the car was off the road was £156 & a few pennies.

£75 total.

We did have a laugh at the weekend, went out for a meal & SWMBO wanted to drive.

Now she's never driven an automatic before, let alone an electric car, so she came to reverse into a space, popped it in what she thought was the correct gear, but the car went nowhere. Looking slightly worried she said "it's not moving". "What gear are you in" was my reply. "P for parking" came the response!!!!

Just had a Rolec 32A charging point installed at home today, it doesn't seam to charge any quicker than the 16A we already have.

Maybe it's faster when the battery is below 90% as the cell balancing takes place towards the end of the charging cycle.

It will need some further investigation.

Managed to achieve 3.7 mpkw on the way to work this morning. Won't be doing that again, it was boring.
Doesn't seem that good? I got 3.6 mpkw this morning in my i3 at -3 degrees, heater on full blast, travelling on the dual carriageway 70 mph where possible.
I'm getting about 3.5-3.6Mpkw, 10 miles each way to from work of which 6miles is M/way, A/C on, in the dark.

Hoping this will rise to 4.5-5Mpkw as the summer comes.

Tried a little slip streaming on my way to work this morning with a 7.5 tonner, journey took only a minute or so longer, eased the Mpkw out to 4.02.

Sorry full of questions today, we want to take the Zoe to Paris in April. Is this feasible, and do I need an adaptor?

I can't quite believe this, but the HVAC system is playing up....again.

Started making the same noise it did last time, this piss poor reliability is becoming beyond a joke.

Just chased them, it was finished yesterday but they have been told not to release the car until customer care have called.

Apparently it was test driven yesterday, I know that's not true however as ZE Services says it was charge Wednesday & has not moved since.

Hmm
