Got the Zoe back on Saturday, all OK so far. I think the software mod others have mentioned has been carried out as the heating is more effective when in ECO mode.

Also my MpKwh has gone from a fairly consistent 3.6 up to 4.2.

Out of the 4 last scheduled charges overnight three have failed, I never had a single failure before the car spent two weeks in the dealer being repaired.

At which point do I call it quits?

My problem is I actually prefer the Zoe to the Leaf. I'm going to try a different charge lead & see if the problem re-occurs. It's when scheduled from the in car scheduler not ZE Services.

I was looking forward to trying the Zoe for a couple of days, went to pick the car up but there was a problem with the charger. The dealers says should be sorted in a couple of days. I have been back a couple of times to check on progress, but have now given up, the dealer cannot be bothered to contact me.
Yep, easily the worst dealership network I have ever dealt with, particularly Sheffield and Derby. Tried to give them money for a zoe on a number of occasions but had no joy. Went to Nissan instead. Great service so far.
What dealership network?

Evans Halshaw and whoever owns Derby. But Renault in general, ste.
They were impeccable with my Zoes, could not fault them at all.

It's easy to change the battery lease, just call them, not so for the PCP, I believe it's fixed.

For this reason I have 10k on the PCP & 7.5k on the battery lease.

Several weekends in a row now we've had trips of ever increasing distance without feeling the need for a top up, yesterdays saw us get home with 30miles indicated range after an 85mile trip.

Wife used the car all day yesterday, then we had to make surprise trip from Bristol to Chippenham to collect yet another Radley handbag, a 50 mile round trip with only 57miles showing on the trip computer, we thought we'd risk the Zoe, had 27 mile range left when we returned.

Today it's on charge using the sun.

Radley handbags and a 'peasant' EV? Get out and buy that Tesla. if your wife can afford handbags like that......then again maybe you'd have a Tesla if she didn't buy them hehe

Recently my commute has changed, from 10k miles a year, to 36k miles a year, unsure as to how to handle it, the car copes perfectly with a 136mile round trip every day, with just a 20min top up at a rapid on the M4. But it won't be long before I'm over my PCP mileage allowance.
