I'm not too bothered at the moment, the dealer guys were honest about it and gave her the demo until it is fixed.

My take on things like this is that st happens, it is how it gets cleaned up that is important =)

ETA we just picked the demo up, swmbo is very excited/impressed.

Once the traffic subsides I shall do a beer run and see what it is made of, some benefits to having a dealer loan ! laugh

Sounds like the car is going through it's final checks after repair & should be with me later today...at last.

Just had an email from Renault PR, they want to interview me as to what would make somebody doing my job by a Zoe in order to run a story.......

Let me think about that!!!!

The promised call from customer care to discuss the resolution of this never happened.

So who's going to hazard a guess as to the "goodwill payment" Renault offered me.

The total I paid in lease whilst the car was off the road was £156 & a few pennies.

£75, less than the payments on the car in that time.

Told them to go and have another think.

I guess we have an even poorer view of Renault than you do!

Renault came back with a revised offer, of a 3pin slow charger. Which I'm happy with as I was looking to buy one & they are not cheap. Slight difference from their first offer.

They certainly are not cheap, almost £500 from memory?

Hope you get to enjoy the new car excitement now, however belatedly

How slow are they to charge? I thought 18 hours was what I read somewhere.

something around that, nice to have as a fall back if we go off to visit friends & no public charge points nearby.

Nice to see they are allowing the stereotype to prosper!!!

I had a problem with my i3 and they gave me a loaded m5 press demo for the duration of the problem. A lovely hamper for the wife and a free servicing pack for 3 years as well as jumping all over the problem and keeping me informed all the way. Part of the delay was them replacing a load of supplemental parts as well to ensure no repetition.
I couldn't fault how they dealt with it.

Just saying, lol

Renault make their electrics from recycled onion and garlic baguettes. this started with the Megane. they had extra garlic in the wires.

Yes yes, but you've already paid for that twice over in the asking price tongue out
