Have you put any effort into this?, for less effort than the PH post you would see a map of charge points, ecotricity takes any card at present and for local CYC covers a lot of them but obviously use zap map to see who runs the points near you.
I've done my research, but wondering if I'm missing something. The 3 local charge points which I could envisage using seem to be run by Ecotricity, CYC and Charge Master. A little more chaotic than I'd envisaged - and seems quite expensive to benefit from the occasional 'free' charging. Guess I'm looking for one ring card to rule them all.
Ecotricity is your best bet as it currently (!) takes any RFID card! CYC will work from an app on your phone - I have tried both of these and it was painless. Chargemaster I do not know sorry - none on merseyside.

Our ecotricity point is near a nature park and we combined the two over easter but that was probably a one off!

Looks like Nissan had a bumper month for shifting units on the back of these deals. 1,254 Leaf's sold compared to 630 in March last year

Don't worry the wait is worth it, I need to stop driving mine, have done 200 miles in one weeks, at this rate my 7.5K annual limit is going to be blown out of the water...For tomorrow I think I need to make my self use the wife's brand new Lexus to drop her off at work....Currently it's doing a great job of looking flash/clean by not moving much from the driveway (apart from to make way for the Leaf to charge smile)

Looks like I missed the boat on the March deals. Has anyone seen any Q2 deals?

Have the app on android and seems to work fine, able to see how much charge left and can put the heating on in the morning before going out to the car. No details available on the app about energy consumption or driving you have to go on to carwings via the Nissan website to get that information and it does seem random as to whether it up loads the information or not, totally missed out the information from our use on Sunday!

Ours came in at £241 with Aviva in the wife's name with just 1 years no claims discount, also went through Quidco and got £70 cash back so £171 for the year fully comp including business use.

£184 for one off payment , I took the monthly option works out just over £200 . Very similar to my last car (350z) . I'm guessing the value of the leaf offsets the lower performance for the quote.

all of you insurance prices are soo low... smile

Reading on here it seems its hard to stop driving around in the leaf and 6000 miles is only 16 miles a day. I'm thinking I should have gone for more miles, maybe 8000 or 10000 would have been better.

Insurance has a huge range - Admiral are very cheap (or were) while Aviva were very dear for me. A19 brokers did the best deal.

I'm with Admiral on the multi-car deal, £216 as a 2nd car. BUT beware they only pay out market value for the first year so GAP insurance is worth looking into.

Had the last bits of my Rolec charger installed today: http://i.imgur.com/QvgAlex.jpg
