Still got it and still love it (was in it yesterday). Getting a bit chilly now though!

I wouldn't get one without doors as st from the road will come into the cabin..especially in the back. Windows you can get either OEM flimsy ones or a company in Holland do polycarb items that look decent.

I have been caught in the rain only once and stayed dry believe it or not. The main problem with the colder weather is your hands! Definitely need gloves in winter.

You could manage 37 I'd say? Can't you charge it at work? I run an extension lead out into the carpark if I think I'm going to get left short.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it, I've got a short commute that I am buying one for - arrives in 2 weeks and can't wait
Congrats. I haven't used mine in a few weeks due to poor weather and the c63 being too inviting! I'm going to ask Santa for the mud flaps to help with crap on the road.

Let me know how you get on...if you want it chipped give me a shout wink

The Elia chip is a plug in once and set then remove job...when you want to go back to stock (haha), you just plug it in again and set it to stock...take 2 minutes.

1 press of the accelerator on start is stock

2 press + 10 km/h

3 press + 10 km/h + 13Nm

I have it set to warp factor 3 all the time. It will NOT help battery range though only make the little car more manly.

Thankyou smile

Not wanting to hijack my own thread with the german war machine but she's changed a bit since those photos...Twizy came as it is now, liquid yellow and gloss black respray (one of the reasons I wanted it).

Anyway, back on EV topic smile

Well there are 2 or 3 others dotted around Surrey. I'm always up for an eco meet in the bug smile Range sounds right to me in this weather. You can drive mine, see if the chip makes any difference.

Bloody hell, almost 100% torque increase? I'd worry it'll knacker the drive train though...

Insurance for me is £250 if I recall, not cheap really for what it is. My Merc is only £500.

I'm in Virginia Water so could get to Effingham I guess but probably need a recharge to get back! Me thinks this needs some extra special route planning before departure!
Well anyone is welcome to charge here or maybe we just plot a route no more than 15 miles from base?

After 3 months laid up, I took the Twiglet out last night to do some shopping with my youngest....forgot just how silly it is. Madder than a sack of squirrels smile

Afternoon guys,

So the time has come after just 9 ish months to sell the Twizy. Selling it for no other reason than I bought it to commute and now I don't need to. It's a waste to keep it for a blast every now and again (and it's not really that sort of car).

Loved owning it, totally unique experience. If you know of anyone interested...let me know

Not sad times really, just not much point me having almost 4 grand sat on the floor doing very little smile

I'm used to having track cars as a weekend blast option and the C63 keeps me pretty busy.
