The dealer said that demand had significantly exceeded supply. They weren't sure how popular the gen4 would be, because of the unconventional design and because petrol prices are pretty low right now. In fact they have been flying out of the showrooms. Waiting time for anything except a base model in black is 5 months.

This is the pearlescent white finish. I wasn't sure about it initially. I got it because the dealer offered a very good deal on the pearlescent paint and because I haven't had a white car before. It will be a bugger to keep clean, but it's turned out very nicely.

I'm pretty impressed with the fuel economy. This is after a trip from London to Eastbourne and back. Mostly M25 and A-roads. Quite hilly around Beachy Head. Climate control on and "swift progress" made including driving at the legal limit and booting it when going into a NSL.
