I was hoping it might do remote control parking like the E class, but apparently not. frown
Is that feature perhaps one of the downloadable apps you can install? (not integrated into the 'connect' tool). I meant to have a play with those features but not got round to it yet. Can't actually see me using such a feature though? Then again, don't knock it until I try it I guess.

I figured even if I only used it once, when I got back to the car to discover that some inconsiderate peasant had parked so close to me that I couldn't get the door open, then it would be worth having. smile

Had a brief dig into the parking app. Assuming your car supports it, you have to purchase the "service" online. £89 for 3 years. iPhone app to drive it is free.

My 350e doesn't support it. Maybe it needed to have had some other options or perhaps it's only on E class and above?

Do you have the 360 degree camera on yours? I know it needs that.

I don't, so that would be it probably. Log in to the 'Mercedes Me' website where I assume you have your car set up, then find the link to the shop and browse your way to the parking thingy and it'll tell you if its available for your car.

I get (even if I don't like) why some of these features are subscription and limited to a 3 year term on a new car with an option to extend when the time comes, but something like the parking app where AFAIK all you are doing is making use of hardware you bought already should really be included IMO.

Out of the blue I received notification that mine was being delivered this Friday. A couple of weeks ago I was told it would be early April!
So that means I've not even decided how I'm going to sort out my external charging point.
So could I run from off an extension cable and set a low charge amps?

Excellent! Yes, I think you could get away with an extension although it's not recommended. You will find the plug socket gets warm, so make sure it's on an RCD. There's a chap near me who must plug it into his garage, feeds the cable under the door and leaves the charger plug dangling on his garage door handle!

Hmm... I'd better check with Leaseplan when mine is due! It was originally also early April, but then moved to early May, so if it suddenly turned up in a week, I'd be stuffed for time to get the old car cleaned up to send it back! hehe

Yes it was good for me as I could send my rental V60 Volvo back which was cr4p.

Delivered today, but too busy with work to figure out how to drive the thing! There's no auto gear stub for starters.
Got the 18" wheels and tow bar looks ok.

There's a lot to suss out that's for sure!
You'll soon learn not to switch the wipers on with the gear stick...

Now had for a couple of weeks and loving it. Amazing bit of kit.
Can pootle along like a milk float, or be stuck in S+ mode and goes and handles like a decent fast sports estate.
Then can be raised up to clear rutted tracks.
A real allrounder.
Engine tight but so far averaging 42mpg which is the same as my 2.0 tdi A4 was doing.

Had mine almost a year now Leggy and still loving it despite having to change the charging socket yesterday due to water ingress.

Loving your Exige too, we clearly have similar tastes smile

Most I'm seeing with a fully charged battery is a range of 14 miles, and generally it lasts about 12 miles. Yesterday only 10 miles. Will this improve? No a/c, but had the lights on, gentle flat roads too!
