Is seriously good value, now wonder they are selling like hot cakes.
Yup.I buy my own fuel at the moment and buy two tanks of diesel a week at £75 a go at the moment on a bought 535d M Sport - so effectively I am getting the 330e for free.
I suppose for £740 a month I could lease, fuel, insure and run something interesting, but to be honest as soon as I hit 60k miles I'll get a new one, so this is effectively a free new car every 24 months with a fixed monthly cost.
£740 a month for 2500 miles a month means 29p a mile all in including fuel, servicing, tyres, brakes, insurance and a new car every 24 months. That's mad cheap for a 40k car.

I think you may have your sums wrong, I get the same deal as you, fuel card, serving etc as my company car. I'm also a higher rate tax payer and my 330e luxury (£40k) that I've had for 2 months has reduced my take bill to around £140 per month.
This for me also. Unlimited motoring for £135 a month in a £40k+ motor. For a cc driver with no personal motoring contributions, it is simply a fantastic deal.

How do you track your progress, I am K794238 so very close to you!!
All I see on the bimmer.work site is production date 0-00-0000 ??
Basically work backwards choosing lower numbers and the cars that have a production date have been completed on that date. All I see on the bimmer.work site is production date 0-00-0000 ??
Cars that don't have a date are still in production
For example K794228 has a production date of 04/05/2016 and K794229 is showing 0001-01-01 and so is still in production
Not sure why they haven't built any today though? Is Thursday a special day off in Germany??!!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.....
Thank you for waiting, I have checked this for you and can confirm the current order status of your 330e M Sport Saloon in Estoril blue has arrived at dealer (code 9800). This will however be confirmed by your purchasing BMW Centre, would you like me to provide you with their contact details?
Cmon!!!

So were are guys getting these codes that say "In paint shop" or "Waiting for Transport". Once you get this Production date is that the car made and ready to ship?
Yes, once you get the production date your car is built.I think the status codes are coming from the dealers or BMW genius

Thanks can we get access to bow genius? if so any have a link?
Hi John - there maybe a more direct way but I go to bmw.co.uk and go to build a car section. Whilst you start to build the car online the bmw genuis chat pops up. Just pop your name and give them the vin and click on live chat and you're off and running...cheersI think the VPC is at Cuxhaven before it even leaves Germany...
It arrived at Southampton and must have been on the road pretty much straight away..
Local dealer needs a couple of days to prep it

Wow, that's awesome news Dean, in the bag! I assume they all go to this VPC place and then shipped onto the dealer. I'll check mine tomorrow and see where it's at
Hi all
I ordered my 330e sport in grey and some nice extras in early Feb through Lex. I can’t understand why it seems so hit and miss who is getting a car and who isn’t?! I guess it must be down to the specs people have ordered?
Fortunately as it stands I think I am one of the lucky ones, my status has finally changed from “no quota” to “Scheduled” with an ETA of delivery to dealer of 7/7. Although I’ve still not been able to get a build week out of BMW?
Can anyone tell me when and where will I be able to get my VIN number from? Excited to start tracking!
Thanks

I emailed BMW genius early this morning before they opened asking about my order which went through at the end of Jan. They have said I'm now at status 1200 scheduled for production with expected week 23 June. They can't give you the VIN apparently, you can only get this through the dealer, but until it's in production I don't think they can give you the VIN as far as I can tell. Only 49 more sleeps until I see my baby
