Hi Nish, just had my 330e Sport delivered today and I am in awe. I'm a bit confused on the connected drive stuff though, can you help?

Which app on phone do you use, I have two ,one called "Connected" the other "Remote" both seem flaky to me and the "connected app" doesn't seem to find my car half the time. It also lost my registered car online now and I need to reactivate but no messages are coming through to my Connected Drive with the pin no so I am stuck.

So any help with this would be handy.

Thanks
Chris

I think the new NBT EVO connected services are not as reliable as the old one. My colleague has the NBT and his remote services works all the time. I have NBT EVO build as of July, where the remote services are extremely flaky and does not seem to work all the time. I was not even able to send the activation code, I called the call center to get my car registered in my account.

Hi All,

Yes I also had to ring BMW to get the app connected to my car as i couldn't receive the message.

They've also told me connected drive is having issues worldwide and to wait a week before calling again for an update.

This probably makes sense as it seems a few of us are having issues

I am also planning an early oil change. Let me know how much it costs. Currently on 1600km. Plan is to be in Germany for next week and enjoy it thoroughly.

I've done my first 1200 miles or there abouts, averaging 66mpg. That is doing a 28 mile round trip commute, on auto mode and charging on pretty much a daily basis. Car has been driven with mpg in mind so no heavy right foot. I can imagine doing a 50+ mile commute would see the mpg drop dramatically. Pretty impressed with it so far though.

First post. I have had my 330e for 1700 miles and 2 months now. Mpg is averaging at 75.3mpg on in car computer and this is with just under 50mile daily commute charging only at home. I am very pleased with using approximately half the fuel my 2011 polo gti was using which I am only really guessing on how often I am filling up so not scientific.

Hi all,
I've had my 330E Sport since June and done approximately 3500 miles.
My weekly commute involves 2, 140 mile motorway journeys in Auto mode, followed by 8, 5 mile local commutes on battery only.
Depending on how I drive the Motorway miles, I can get between 45mpg and 60mpg for the 320 mile round trip.

I'm a bit disappointed on the Battery range after a full charge as it's generally around 18 miles and I've never seen above 21 miles.

Hope this helps people

Hi Guys,

I got my 330e M sport last week and have to say I am well impressed. I got it to hopefully save some cash on my commute. of 26 miles. I am able to charge it at home and work so this helps a lot. So far there has not been a day that I have not recorded under 100 mpg.....I have actually managed on two days 176 mpg on the app for my journey. I have filled the car up now and will see how long this lasts....hoping to get over 1000 miles from the combined tank and charging. I know this is not the case for everybody as I think I probably have about a perfect journey to work for this car.

One last question...when I got the car it used to say 25 mile electric range on full charge - now only reporting 21 miles....has anyone else had a similar experience or know the answer?

No I left it and it disappeared the next day? I did notice the water temp was only at about a quarter on the dial - usually half way, but I had been driving on Max Edrive for 5 or 6 miles prior to the warning light which seemed to come on not long after I hit the motorway and was using the engine.

Maybe it's an error caused by the petrol engine not being warmed up then an anomaly in what the car thinks is happening but isn't really?
Hello,

I came across your message via Google as I am having the same coolant issue with my 330e as well. Did the issue ever come back for you or anyone else? The dealer will check tomorrow but it seems to be a known issue I guess. Thanks a lot.

Don't worry, they're all pretty much ignoring the cost of the electricity they're putting in. Do 2 miles on all electric and your mpg is infinite. The cost however is something like 4p-5p a mile. Still good, but a long way from free unless they can charge for free, which is becoming increasingly difficult.

Hi all owners.

May I ask a quick question?

Does the engine run all the time when in Sport/Sport+ mode?

If you live or work in and around London it's worth getting a Source London card - costs £5 and then charging is free!

Had the same after 1700km while taking a long left turn on an onramp. Went back to the dealer, only a few km from my location. They topped it up. Will keep a lookout. Moment I went to the direct service and said I picked up a 330e two weeks earlier, the guy immediately said "And you need a coolant refill".

Which driving mode do you use for regular driving, Eco Pro or Comfort?

I am currently mostly using Eco Pro because I am concerned about the fuel economy but I am wondering what are the disadvantages (for the fuel economy) of using Comfort mode. From what I have observed, Eco Pro prefers coasting instead of charging when I release gas pedal while Comfort starts charging immediately. If I am forced to use fuel because of driving longer distances is the coasting more efficient then recharging and using this electricity in the city.

Just gone over 2500 miles of which 1450 have been electric. Average is 80mpg currently, dragged down by 2x 400+ mile round trips.
